More than just a fancy name. TURNIGY nano-tech Lipoly batteries were designed from the ground up with serious performance in mind. Utilising an advanced LiCo nano-technology substrate that allows electrons to pass more freely from anode to cathode with less internal impedance. In short; less voltage sag and a higher discharge rates than a similar density lithium polymer (non nano-tech) batteries.

Lithium Polymer batteries are used in many RC hobby industries. Over the last few years, Lipo batteries have become the most popular battery choice for anyone looking for a longer run time and higher power.

Lipo batteries weigh less and can be made into almost any size or shape. Lipo batteries have higher capacities, hold more power and have a higher discharge rate, meaning they pack more punch. For safe use and storage of Lipo batteries, you need to follow the rules and treat the batteries with the respect they deserve.

The nano-core technology in lithium ion batteries is the application of nanometer conductive additives. The nanometer conductive additives form ultra-strong electron-conducting networks in the electrodes which can increase electronic conductivity.

These additives create the ability for imbibition in the carrier liquid to supply more ion channels. This improves the ability of ion transmission and ion diffusion. Through improving electronic conductivity and ion transmission, the impedance is reduced and the polarization of high rate discharge decreases greatly.

Turnigy Nano-Tech Akkus bevorzuge ich, da sie relativ preiswert sind zu dem was sie bieten. Sie blähen sich kaum und sind lange haltbar bei 50 % Kapazität. Sie sind leichter als die meisten und je nach C Rate auch stark belastbar. Auch schnell zu laden. Der größte Nachteil ist ihre Größe. Ab und zu ist eine Zelle schlecht wegen mangelnder Prüfung. Darum direkt bei Ankunft die Zelldrift messen. Ein Bild der Messwerte einsenden und der Service liefert Ersatz bei berechtigtem Fall. Da ist der Service von HK wirklich zu empfehlen. Mit ein Hauptgrund für mich hier zu kaufen neben dem Preis! Es gibt leichtere, kleinere und leistungsstärkere Akkus, aber nicht mit der hohen Anzahl an Ladezyklen und deutlich teurer. Da ich keine Wettbewerbe mehr fliege, ist dies die beste Marke für mich!

Still a good battery but....

I've had these batteries for over a year now and they are still going strong, a great buy for sure. I use Brain2 FBL and a read peak currents of 150A on occasion, which is the peak current of my HW 120A LV V4 ESC. So great for momentary current spikes. I have now used them in an EDF jet and the true continuous dischrage is in fact 15C, or 70 Amps. They can't really supply over 70A continuous

Good battery

Flown ten or so flights on my 520 size Heli. These batteries are fine, no issues. IR of cells are all 2 or 3 Milli Ohms. I have three batteries.
Perhaps these batteries aren't good enough for the hardest 3D but I'm no where near that level so they are perfect for me at this price. I also have three 3 cell nano techs and they are also excellent. I do a lot of field charging at high C rates, they don't really even get warm. Very good batteries I think.
