very powerful engine, used with 3s lipo 3700 mah about 10 minutes flight with a propeller 12x6. weight of the aircraft in 1900 gr. very good ratio power priceUtterly useless to me. I might has well have orderd a chocolate teapot. The mounts are on the wrong side which means it has to sit in front of an engine mount and not behind it like the other aerodrives and XYH motors I have had.
Excellent motor! Mine survived full immersion in brackish water for 30 minutes after a flight went badly wrong. Flushed it with fresh water and then meths. The ESC did not make it!
Just run it up on the bench with a three-blade EMP 9x7.5 prop and 4S battery and the combo is doing 1070 Watts at peak with 60Amp ESC. At half throttle it easily powers my Trainstar and penetrates wind.dzieuje, dobry silniczekGreat motor, have it on my Seagull PC-9 EP with a 9 x 7 APC(E) prop and a Turnigy Plush 40 Amp ESC. Excellent power and acceleration. I use 3S 2200mah LiPo's. If you pull instant full power on a new well charged battery for take off, it pulls about 38 Amps but once in the air the most I've pulled is 30 Amp. The most I can get up to holding it static on the ground is 40 Amp again dropping down to a comfortable 30 Amps once that initial surge drops back. The motor is well balanced and does not get hot (The PC-9 is well ventilated at the nose). Bearings seem good and smooth after a few flights. The motor looks and feels well made. Recommended. My model flies really well with good verticals and does all the aerobatics of a good sports model. Flight time with variable throttle (i.e. not flat out all the time) is around 9 - 10 minutes depending on conditions.I used it to upgrade the stock 3536 960kv motor in a Parkzone Wildcat, and use it with a 60A ESC with a 3s 2200mah when using a TGY 9X7.5 prop, and 2s2p 1800mah with a APC 10x7 (for long slow flights). It probably goes around 70mph with the fast setup, and has good vertical performance. The motor is a good fit as a replacement. The two mounting screws that are furthest apart fit in the wildcat mount pattern, and I used some washers to space and stabilize the motor. The only problem is that when using the X mount, the mounting screws may damage the windings as long as they are. The shaft is strong as it stayed straight during a very hard hit that broke things and bent the aluminum adapter. The adapter fits a 5mm shaft and converts it to a 8mm with threads that fit the NTM 42 series adapter set spinner.Gostei muito deste motor, mas ele consome muita bateria.Motor sounded a bit cracky when turned by hand. Luckily it's opened really easy by removing the clip from the shaft and then pull the outer part from the rotor. Some metal parts were stuck on the magnets. Easy fix, run's great, fantastic price.Nice quality build strong with 5 mm shaft and a good size retaining clip
Comes with nice spec sheet, only thing ,, check with a watt meter as prop sizes quoted are a little on the high side if your using good high C batteries and can easily over cook a great motor :)Great little motor got it in my Ripmax spitfire, pulling 480 watts on 3s.....climbs vertical until i cant see it!!!!!
ordered another for my ripmax mustang, hope to get same performance.....
pound for pound, Turnigy are the best motor....
