A 13X6.5 prop on a 3S batt was too small for the motor. Don't put a plastic prop on it. This motor broke two of them in mid flight and the motor rattled loose both times and slugged out the brackets. Now I have a long wait for a carbon prop. Hope that one will hold.

I have purchased two of these motors. Overall quality of the motor is very good however there is a problem with the collet adapters that are included with these motors. Note that the motor is rated for 600watts. Well you aren't going to be using some cheap prop with a thin hub to get 600watts. Most will be using something like an APE prop which has a very thick hub, or a Master Airscrew. That means you will have to purchase a longer collet adapter like the Hyperion long 5mm adapter. So whatever the price of this motor is tack on an additional $14 for an adapter that will actually work.

I used the moto glider laminate 2 meters 1750g of carbon folding propeller 13x6, 5 and a pack of 2200mAh. The model in this nicely set up then and not vertically but in 10-15 seconds are my height to glide.
I am fully satisfied with the engine

this is the first of the G motors i have bought and i love them they have a smooth start no judder and can handle a 4000mAh connected to HobbyKing 60amp ESC with 4amp UBEC. they are solid it has a 5mm shaft but it does`nt come with 3.5mm connecters for the ESC just bare soldered tips to fix your own connecters.I will be buying more of the G motor`s.

This product replaced the stock motor in my PZ P47D. I also put a 60 amp esc and a 10x10 APC E propeller. Let me tell you, this thing moves! I am also using a Zippy 2200 4 cell 40C battery. The number are: 34 amps 522 watts @ 16.56 volts. This is giving me a top speed of around 83 mph (gear down) and with the gears up should be in the ball park of 94 mph. Vertical is endless! I also use the factory 3 cell 2200's (25C) and the flight is very nice. My only complaint is that it doesn't come with the banana plugs, not even loose in package for you to solder them on yourself. BUT for the price, I can get 2, buy the plugs, solder it for the price of the Eflite.
