The Ultra Power UP7 range of chargers uses the latest state-of-the-art technology, is very simple and intuitive to use, and is loaded with lots of features. Their ability to operate from either AC mains or a DC power source of 9~32V means they are extremely versatile, as they can be used at home or when out on the field to charge your batteries.
The UP7 can charge two batteries of different chemistry, and different voltages at the same time as it is two chargers in one unit. The LCD screen is split into two to show the information for each battery pack whilst being set up or charged/discharged. Both charging outputs can charge from 0.1~10A and can charge either 1~6S lithium-type cells (including LiHV), 1~16S NiMH/NiCd, or 1~12S Pb cells.
As mentioned above, the UP7 is very simple to set up and use, it features an easy-to-read 2.4" 320x240 IPS LCD color screen that displays all the real-time data you need while either charging or discharging. There are then two independent roller shuttle controls for programming in your battery setup, and once you are charging/discharging the shuttle control can be used to display a range of data by scrolling the wheel up and down. The display screen will also change color on each channel during various tasks, blue for charging, green for when charging is complete, orange for discharging, and red when discharging is complete.
Overall, the Ultra Power UP7 charger/discharger is a very versatile charging unit for two battery packs. It can be either operated from the mains at home, or an external DC power source when out at the flying field, the race track, or the boating lake.
