Product Description

The OrangeRx TX10i is the big cousin to the popular OrangeRx TX6i. It comes with lots of excellent features such as ergonomic styling, Hall effect gimbals, internal antenna and now with 10 channels so you can use more mixes and features than before to give better control over your model (be it a plane/glider, helicopter or multirotor).

The radio is designed to fit in your hand with a comfortable shape makes it easier to hold and the switches are easy to use the sticks can be adjusted to a length that works for you. Setup and programming are a breeze with the large backlit LCD display and a roller/selector button combined with two programing buttons for the simplest of use. More features include model match (stops you trying to fly your model with the wrong model memory selected), telemetry, 20 model memory, switch assignment, multi-copter mode, servo sync, integrated timer, all this and more. It is still compatible with existing DSM2/DSMX and s.Link receivers but there is no DSM2 for EU models.

It still has range test function, dual/exponential rates, travel adjust, mixers, plane / glider / helicopter / multirotor modes and much much more. The OrangeRx TX10i has all the features of a more expensive radio at the best of prices.

Overall quality is good. I recommend the following improvements

Overall quality is good, basic programming is easy.
To improve:
1. For advanced complex programming a more detailed user manuals is needed. Specially you want to use 2 servos for ale, elev, rudder and motor, means using the aux ports and mixers to do complex combinations. Here it does not tell you how the transmitter works.
2. The plastic rotary switch on the right hand lower side to program the transmitter is terrible to use. It get stuck all the time, it won't turn easy. It is a hassle to use. Please replace it to the old aluminium one like on the yellow transmitter.

I am rather disappointed with this purchase. There is NO ratchet on the Throttle Channel or any way to adjust it for feel., also compared to Spektrum, which it tries to emulate, the operating system is rather poor, it's saving grace is it's price point, to be honest I don't think that i will ever use it

The Orange TX10i 2,4Ghz is the same brand as the popular Orange TX6i. It comes with lots of excellent features such as ergonomic styling, Hall effect gimbals, internal antenna and 10 channels so you can use more mixes and another features. There is options for heli, plane/ glider and multirotor. So you can use it for all airplanes. The measure of the radio is regular. (Compare to Spektrum DX7s) It has large backlit LCD with some buttons and roller/selector. There is 20 model memory, switch assignment, multi-copter mode, servo sync, integrated timer, all this stuffs. It is still compatible with existing DSM2/DSMX and s.Link receivers but there is no DSM2 for EU models.(When you use DSMX it is not a problem.) You can use it with DSMX receivers. Recommendable for beginner modeler to learn flying. Good quality at an affordable price. Satisfied. Thank you HK.
