The 3rd of my fascinations of FunFighters! This one is on par with the Rarebear and goes together very well! Extra glue on the wing spar and added carbon to the elevator to stiffen things up. This motor is slightly different to the others and looks a little better for some reason. Replaced the ESC with a 30A for safety and there's still enough space inside to fit a 4S 1000 lipo.

une vrai fuse !
j ai changer le vario pour un blueseries 30a, avec batteries 850mah 45c , helice d origine vitesse relever au bushnell 162km/h et je pense pouvoir faire beaucoup mieux en piquer de la mort lol !
pour info l aile ne se demonte pas, prevoir de la colle foam safe, j'ai commander un cone de 38mm en alu pour voir parceque les helices ne sont faciles a equilibrer....affaire a suivre

Awesome little plane! Put together in less than an hour, I added a rudder by carefully shaving out a hing. Fly's really well on 3s. For the price it's a whole lot of fun, I can't wait for the 4S batteries to arrive!

Well I flew my P-51 again today .I had a 50amp esc and installed it on the outside on the bottom. I cut out some foam on the bottom and recessed it and ran the wires from the bottom into the fuse looks good and flew great very very fast plane. I think well over 100MPH

Got my P-51 yesterday and test flew it today.It did not make the whole flight and the ESC went out. I guess it can't handle 4's like it said it could.The ESC looks to be very small to handle 4's. Everything else looked to be good.

Very impressed, for such as small model it flies great, handles light wind with no problem, but most of all these things are FAST!!!. I would recommend you try a few flights with a 3 S battery as it very sensitive to being out of trim, was a bit wild for a few seconds on first flight , but once trimmed out it flies like its on rails.
I have now had a few flights now with 4S packs and it is quite insane.
Nice hatch arrangement very secure and looks good.
Watch the wing reinforcer , it was not glued in the middle where the spars meet, don't think model would last long if you didn't glue this.

I purchased this little bad boy as an addition to the Rarebear which I have been flying for the last year. The P51 is a much sleeker airframe than the Bear & is also some 80 grams lighter in weight. It is a tight squeeze to fit a 1000mah 4s Nanotech turned on its side.
The P51 felt more locked in & stable in flight than the Rarebear & seemed every bit as fast. The stock speedie didn't seem to like the current draw of the Nanotech & kept on cutting the motor power at full throttle. When I changed back to a lower C rating 4s it was ok. I will be upgrading to a Turnigy Plush 30 amp unit asap as I have already done with the Rarebear, A great, fun & faaaast little warbird that looks remarkably scale.

Brand new, connected the battery, engine sounded strange at half throttle, at full throttle the engine died after 5 seconds and the ESC was very hot. ESC is also dead. Customer service tells me to ship it back to China, though I bought it from NL warehouse. It will cost me 200 $ to do that. Bad customer service. No solution yes as they do not respond to my complaint on sending it back to China. Be aware.!!!!

Pure adrenaline kick and lots of fun! Flys very stable at higher speeds but not so good at low speed. So keep the speed up!
A tip; balance the props! The original props are totally out of balance!
