Really pleasantly surprised. Body is exposed and get scratched when roling over. And you WILL roll over !

Very fun and hard to drive without crashing.



I openned the tranny to check if there was some oil, added some more just in case, but was OK.



Driving more than 1h on a 5000mAh 2S that doesn't fit in without mods.



Very nice car after all.

Great vehicle. I didn't have any trouble with mine, gave it a once over when it first arrived, which I would always recommend, and everything was fit properly and the screws were all tightened. Been driving it around for a while and haven't had any trouble. Grass, gravel, dirt, and concrete no problem. Has a lot of power does wheelies easy if you're on a terrain that gives a good grip. My young nieces and nephews drove it around and crashed it a lot, even drove it into a few trees, and it still holds up. The motor is sealed pretty well, I took the cover off and couldn't find any dirt or gravel in the gears. The only complaints I have is the dog bone came out of one of the back wheels once, and the suspension is set a little high so if you try to make high speed turns it will tumble, but driving a bit slower on turns or adjusting the suspension will fix that problem. Great purchase, I've loved it so far. I should also mention I got it on sale, about $85, and haven't upgraded any parts.

The youtube videos of this thing just do not convey how overpowered it is. On pavement it literally flips if you gun it. Like a complete roll. This is my first brushless truck, so maybe I'm easily impressed, but regardless, this thing is just a ton of fun. It seems to be really well built both in assembly and materials, it is much better quality all around than my old Stampede. The body quality and paint job is fantastic! I can't believe how great of a value this truck is.

There are only a few negatives I can come up with. First is the motor gets insanely hot after about half a pack. Like too hot to touch. Parts availability is a concern. Last but not least the battery is a paint to get in and out.

to start off its a great fun car atleast for a while untill it breaks down
lets tell the story of my skull crusher
first time i put it on the floor and started it up it ate its spur gear not going more than a meter but when i changed it out for some other plastic gear i found ... it was always great running 2s is not a problem for this car even when i was at top speed and just let go of the throttle alittle and back to full it would still weelie all over again it was great after many 46t plastic spur gears later and loads of jumps and rolls and crashes coz iam not really the carefull driver ... it broke on the landing whole back came off but still ... bought another frame and placed evrything on that and the new car was still really great even the 4wd was able to flip on its back while at high speeds just by accelerating too fast it was great but eventaly my drifeshaft from the engine broke but still to this day ... some parts survived :P okey just the tires ... i love these tires thay work great on evrything
so conclusion for me ... skull crusher wurth it even tho its might just be for parts in the end :P but its been great fun getting to a box of scrap

I broke both front shocks on first drive, but I ran directly into a tree (faster than I thought it would be and grass was a bit slick), which one would expect something would break with that kind of hit. Have run and wrecked many times, sometimes rolling cartwheels a few times after a jump, seems to be holding up pretty good.. Upgraded shocks to aluminum for peace of mind, but old shocks were just fine. Have not had problems with ESC like some have mentioned, probably was a bad batch at some point. Overall very happy with truck especially for the price!

had this truck over a year now and not had lot of trouble out of it but it does do a lot of wheelies but its pretty fast to I have the alum shocks on mine seems to work pretty good

This is great I love this truck, it does wheelie very easy but I don't know how to set the ESC yet, but I did notice if I start off slow and then give it full throttle it does a running wheelie for a moment. I added a Turnigy nano-tech 4200mah 2S2P 40~80C Hardcase Lipo Pack and a HobbyKing GT-2 2.4Ghz Receiver 3Ch. You can't beat HK prices.

This for me is an updated Midnight pumpkin without the crap handling the 4 stars is due to the fact from new the drive shafts fall out around a sharp corners and had I to use small rubber piece inside the CV to keep the shafts from leaving other than that all the parts are really flexible so I think you'd have to try hard to break it
