This Esc is a perfect upgrade to brushless for the Genius CP micro helicopter. Not plug and play - the connectors will not fit - but works flawless with the c05 11000kv motor from HK. Programming is easy too, instructions are in the files section.
I soldered all the wires directly to the receiver board, the smaller and - cables are not needed at all (cut them off), the thicker black and red cable go to the battery input points on the board, the thin red wire (signal) goes to the signal point on the receiver and I hardwired (soldered) the motor to the board...
No converter needed, no startup problems, with an 8 tooth pinion plenty of power !
