Put this in My Firebird phantom. Absolutely Screams. Wing snapped in half because there was so much speed:) If planning to use this setup be sure to reenforce your wing. Using with 18a plush and 4.1x4.1 prop. Awesome motor. Thanks HK!

I had an EasyGlider with a brushed motor. After three attempts to get it to climb, I went with this and a 25 amp ESC. Amazing difference. Now climbs to almost out of sight in 90 seconds, 25 min flights are easy.
The threads fit the gearbox perfectly and the pinion gear (10 tooth) fits right off the old brushed motor. A drop in replacement and at least 3X the performance. Used Turginy 2 cell 2200 mah battery. This is good!

I have installed it in my 1/16 Monster Beatle as a replacement to the original motor that was burnt.
I am operating it on 2S Lipo but I tried it also with 3S.
So far no problem at all apart from the fact that after 10 minutes of use it becomes very hot and it is a little slower compared to the original (that one was 4814 KV).
