Here is the Crash Cash Winner for October 2022:

Martin Gustavsson

1) Where are you from and how did you get into the hobby?

"Sweden. I've always been interested in the RC world and some years ago I tried to fly a simple RC plane and got into it right away!"

2) What’s the story behind your RC model and the crash?

"The reason of the crash is a failed elevator servo! It just went down nose to the ground and caught fire. (2pcs of 4000mAh 5S lipos) The plane was a home-built bi-plane with a 2m wingspan."

3) What's your favorite RC model and why?

"My favorite plane is Supermarine Spitfire. I like the lines och the design for this iconic warbird. Its history is very interesting as well. On the RC-flying convents, you can almost always spot one!"

4) What is the best part of being an RC pilot and why?

"It's the combination of both building and flying. If it's not a good wheater, you can always have a building project in the workshop."
