It overheads with 3 cell. Also hard to keep prop on. 4.75 x 4.75 prop is a bit much pushing wing wing. Wish this set up a #41 o ring works.

Propeller used disintegrates easily with the o-ring used. Risky during testing, I wish there is better shaft design to install the props.

If you have holes bottom and front to cool it, no problem keeps fresh at 8,5 amps
with a stock of mine prop 5X3.5 : 200g pull and 8.5 AMps with 2 cells.
Prop saver is inadequate (for my stock props only) and CANT BE REMOVED : its part of the rotor.
You can use the back side because it has a 2 mm diameter by 5mm length at the stator.

Hello,I replaced the stock motor on my mini swift with this one after I rebuilt the motor mount with a birch ply mount.Today I corrected the center of gravity by moving the battery back into the fuselage after removing the hump on the bottom of the fuselage.Maiden flight was successful and plane is fast even at half throttle.C2222 isa great little motor so far.Mike

The bearings in this grind. I doubt that it's my fault. Not happy with it - and it isn't really powerful enough for the bonsai for my tastes. It won't go vertical. It gets hot on 2s with a 5030, but that's probably because of the bearings.

I run this motor (c2222) with a 5 * 3 prop on a Bonsai wing. I run two set ups. When I run a life-po4 2s 700mah 5c the figures using my Hk watt meter are, 6.88v, 7a, 50w.

When I run a lipo 2s 500mah 20c the figures are 8.26v, 7.1v, 49w. This is a most impressive little motor and I will be buying one for my Hobbyking Mini Stick 580mm it will have lots of power for that model too. If Hk could source replacement mini prop saver rubber o rings the picture would be 100pcnt complete. Great product HK.

18-march 2013. I have received it some days ago. I fully confirm that wires are very very fragile. Just think that one of the 3 hase broken during soldering the connector. I hadn' t yet tested on board of my Dolphin. When I' ll do , I' will make another entry to report the results.
