The CORONA 2.4GHZ DIY MODUL & RX (DSSS) system works on an old Model Craft 7/14 Superhet 40Mhz Rc from the 80's !
Never thought it would work. Iwas dilighted!

Cheap solution for 2.4 convertion for old radios

This was quite a easy conversion set, I have done 2 of these for old Futaba F14 (for model boat use).
Only remarkable problem is the antenna wire connection to the module. Wire core is very thin, and when you solder it to the module, the joint is weak. You really need to support the wire joint somehow, especially if need to open the back cover often (as is the case in F14 -type radios). Therefore 3 stars for quality.
Otherwise, it has been worked properly in model boat use, where the distances are quite short anyway.

Finished installing in my tried and true Futaba 7CAP. Installation takes about 1/2 hour with careful work and attention to detail. Initial binding was flawless and start-up times are less than 5 seconds. Range check went well, now awaiting a first flight. Great value and will buy another. Thanks for a great product.

Excelente producto. Lo he instalado en una Multiplex cokpit y va muy bien. Aunque aun esta trabajando sobre los 8v, me da mas de 200 metros de alcance. Estoy a la espera de un elevador de voltaje para mejorar el alcance

Works perfect in my Sanwa M11 , made my own TX-Body with a 3D Printer and now it looks like original. To get the ppm Signal you have to press the micro switch . Open the backcover of the M11 and you can see it , I use a Sticker to keep it "pressed". Now everything is fine and works with full range.
