O Curtiss P-40 era um dos lutadores mais utilizados de WW2 vendo mais o combate em mais cinemas em todo o mundo do que qualquer outro lutador de ambos os lados do conflito. O modelo mais tarde 'N' foi considerado por pilotos para ser a melhor versão desta aeronave versátil e vendo como Durafly faz os melhores warbirds EPO lá fora, que poderia ser melhor do que uma P-40N de Durafly.

O Durafly P-40N capta muito bem as linhas clássicas deste muito amado (embora muitas vezes mais à sombra) lutador, e com as várias marcas nacionais fornecidas na caixa, ele presta homenagem aos muitos aviador das muitas nações sob as quais ele serviu valentemente no WW2. Este P-40N estabelece um novo padrão para Durafly tanto em termos de acabamento fechar-se no chão, e verdadeiramente WARBIRD como o desempenho no ar. Gozando de uma série de características únicas que incluem 100 graus torção de metal trunnion e por sua vez, se retrai para a manipulação de rocha sólida chão, pintura super liso e acabamento de superfície com linhas de painel numa escala precisa, e pela primeira vez com um warbird Durafly 1.100 milímetros, um trem de alimentação adequada tanto para 3 e 4S set-up sem modificações necessárias.

O P-40N vem com todos os aparelhos eletrônicos pré-instalados pronto para ligar para a sua escolha de receptor de 7 canais. Uma contagem parte mínima permite uma montagem para ser concluída em apenas alguns passos. A fuselagem EPO moldado tem um acabamento de superfície altamente detalhado externamente, reforço de carbono internamente e apresenta uma cor correspondente plástico duro barriga skid. Ele também tem um bom acesso a todos os aparelhos eletrônicos por meio do portal da bateria / copa, excelente refrigeração em todo e, claro, uma autêntica esquema de procura. A qualidade é, definitivamente, o nome do jogo aqui.

O P-40N se sente mais perto de voar um warbird real do que qualquer outro modelo da gama Durafly, e isso é uma coisa boa! Com a sua maior do que o nível médio de reforço na asa (devido a asa e retrair geometria) o P-40N é o mais pesado warbirds com um só motor, portanto, longe de Durafly. No entanto uma ala bem concebido e sistema de potência ótimo garantir que o P-40N é a nossa warbird voar mais agradável e realista ainda. A 2200mAh 65C 3S lipo vai dar boa fora e de fora desempenho escala, no entanto, um 2200mAh 25C 4S pacote vai realmente trazer este modelo para a vida para o desporto e o vôo acrobático!

Received in perfect condition... this plane has an awesome finish! Great quality foam, paint, and stickers as well. Took about 1 hour and a half to get it ready to fly, everything fits perfectly! Just had to bind it on my Spektrum 7S, made some fine tunning on the servos and it was ready for take off. I'm using the orange 820 receiver with the orange flight stabilizer V2 plugged with the retracts, so its works only on take off and landing! By chance I had this stabilizer on maiden flight, because the battery was not set correctly as per the manual (my fault)!!! Got it back in one piece... thanks god! After having corrected this mistake, I tried it again and it has been a perfect flight! Be aware: this plane must land and take off with a good airflow on the wings as she has a quite good tendency to tip tall if the speed is too slow! Not a big issue when you know it. Accordingly, I would not recommend hand launching this P40 to get it airborne for this reason! The landing gear is honest, not weak at all if the landing is performed properly. All in all, this plane has a very good looking in the air and one of my favorite for sure! Thanks HK to provide great products at good price!!!

When I received my P-40 I found that everything was in order and the plane it self was beautiful. The build was fairly easy and after it was assembled I just wanted to put it on a display stand. But being the flyer that I am I couldn't wait to get her in the air. The maiden was to say the least a disaster. She rose of the runway perfectly and turned into a beautiful flight pattern. Gear up and when I went to raise the flaps my finger hit the throttle back and she went into a tip stall. Only about 15 feet to the ground but still enough to break the fuse just aft of the exhaust stacks. So after a new fuse was ordered and all the electronics were switched over. I tried this again. This time with no flaps on take off. The flight was a success and she fly's perfectly. The foam on this aircraft is very weak and stall characteristics are strong. Fly with authority. She likes speed. On landing use full 30 degree flaps and she'll slow and set down on the gear very gentile. I love this plane, it will take a gentile touch and experience to master her but once you do there'll be many hours of fun flying.

Very impressive looking bird! Fit and finish are amazing! This plane loves speed. I found myself flying at 80pcnt throttle on 3s. Much easier to cruse on 4s. The only drawback is the landing gear. The wire bends very easily. Even on a perfect touchdown . With no bounce. That's irritating in the sense that a belly landing will mess up the cowl flaps. Overall, 4.5 stars. Fix the gear issue and you got a 5 star plane!

plane is beautiful. assembly was very easy. instructions are easy to read. function test went flawless. all servos, retracts and motor work properly. only one hiccup with the prop adapter the hole for spinner screw was drilled crooked leaving it thinner on one side causing it to snap when tightening. have a new one on the way along with a spare. but top rating from me absolutely love the plane.

Really nice warbird very authentic, quite stunned at the sheer size and detail of this kit. Only issue was paint peeled off during assembly, and faulty flap servo - other than that amazing technology and quality for the price.

Love the plane...looks fantastic...on the heavy side...but plenty of power..flys nice too!!
Thats the good part of my review the BAD part is the GEAR...they have grounded my plane since I have had it..ONLY 1 time in 2 sets of gear has it landed,,,then the wheels touchdown.. turn in..and BREAK...so plane is worthless with no gear ...here is what happens.
a very WEAK design...a tiny wire keeps and makes it twist..but this plane is so heavy that they can not hold them lined up straight...and landing with them off center puts too much stress on the pin and breaks them....NOW to boot THEY are ALWAYS " OUT OF STOCK" ......so my 200.00 plane has been sitting due to no replacement retract !!! a VERY big Minus for this P-40
