This is an awesome plane. It flies like it's on rails. The model came well packed and was very easy to assemble. The pre-installed electronics are of good quality and after a couple of hours of flight time I have experienced no issues at all. It's very easy to fly and can perform most aerobatic manoeuvres, not quite vertical but plenty of power for cruising around. This model is really impressive in the air and always catches people's attention, the dummy engine looks great and yet it's the quietest model I own. I really recommend this model to anyone who wants something that is satisfying, fun to fly and looks great.

Although I purchased this plane a week before it went on special I have few regrets. It took less than a hour to build and it flys beautifully. Docile and relaxed but still able to be thrown around and enjoyed. These things would make a good trainer for someone with minimal experience with the expo dialed down. I've put some larger wheels on it as I fly off a grass strip. Had a few durafly models and this one is my favourite.

I Love this plane!!! It was extremely easy to assemble in less than an hour. It tracks like its on rails!! Very predictable flight. The Stik has a really long glide path and floats for landings. The only problem with this model is the landing gear. It is a little weak if you have a hard landing. I cut a pc of 1/4" plywood the width of the fuselage and extended it from the landing gear about 2" in both directions and glued it on before I attached the landing gear. Problem solved!! I also removed the stock motor and speed control for a little upgrade in the pep. It was already strong but why not add a little power. I used the the Turnigy D3542/4 1450KV Brushless Outrunner Motor and a Hobby King 60Amp speed control. WELL WORTH THE UPGRADE!! I actually still used a 10-6 prop to keep the max amps under 60. Great plane at a great price!!!

Excellent model. Weak point is the landing gear and the wheels. I replaced the wheels with 6 cm stylish vintage wheels, now the "Ugly stick" looks excellent.

Very good quality aircraft. This model flies great. It is the envy of my classmates. The only drawback is space for the battery which is a bit small. The simulated engine is very well done

Very nice plane. Flew perfect the first time. No trim needed. I used a 2200 mah Zippy compact battery and did have to add a couple of ounces of lead under the top hatch to get it to balance correctly. The carb on the fake engine was unglued so I had to CA it. Everything else was fine. The red paint touches up nicely with a red sharpie markie. Perfect color match.

What an awesome model, top notch quality, easy to build and setup. With a 2200mah all the way up front had to add 1/2oz to get c.g spot on. Flew great once it was all trimmed out. Extremely aerobatic even on low rates.

This is a ridiculously beautiful model. Well made, beautiful paint scheme, and love the fake nitro. It was a head turner at the club this past weekend.

I have only a couple of complaints in that my kit did not have the screws for the rudder (fortunately i am prepared for this), and they could have extended the tail wheel axle just a bit to make it easier to assemble (persistence is a virtue).

Before assembly I applied a light coat of Minwax poly acrylic surface coating for a bit more protection of the paint job. And waited a day for drying.

Instruction manual is very good. I did a bit out of order putting on the front landing gear to make things a little easier.

I set mine up for flapperons. Works well - need a bit more practice on this.

Using a 2200 3S Turnergy battery flew for 7 minutes at slow speeds checking just getting used to the plane ending at 11.5 V on the battery.

cannot wait to have a long good summer day with this one in 2016. It will be my favorite next year.

I am an intermediate in skill level. I would not recommend this as a first plane. I would consider this as a good third plane.
