The Rhino RM-S12 BLDC series of brushless motors have been designed specifically for competitive 1/10, and 1/12 RC rock crawlers due to having higher controllability and starting torque. They have a hollow stainless steel shaft, and a 14-pole, 12-slot high-torque stator, currently one of the smallest stators on the market today (only 28x12mm). This in conjunction with the specially customized dual tile super strong magnetic design makes them a light, efficient, and extremely powerful crawler motor.
The front and rear parts of the motor are CNC machined from high grade 7075 aluminum, the motor windings are high purity copper, and for durability and lower resistance, sealed high-quality, high-precision bearings are used throughout. Installing the RM-S12 to a range of different crawlers is also not a problem, there are multiple M3 tapped threads in the end bell to suit all sorts of vehicle motor mounting.
To bring the best out of this motor and to give you the ultimate driving experience with your crawler, we recommend that you match it will the feature-filled Rhino VE40A electronic speed controller (see related products).
