My F4D turned up quite quickly which was great. Spent about 30mins putting it together and trimmed as best I could prior to flight. Wnded up buying a standard Turnigy 1300mAh 3s and a couple of nano-tech 1300mAh 4S to see how they would go. Found the plane easy to lift off from a cricket pitch but does need about the 3/4 of to get some speed for lift. Once in the air its easy to fly, but I did find I need to run it at about 80pcnt - 100pcnt throttle to keep it alive in the air and it doesn't like a good breeze so a still day would be best. Needed some positive elevator trim up to keep the nose up and then once on the ground just adjusted the link up a little. Glides in for landing well but watch any breeze because it is affected by it. Found the standard 1300 battery ran out of steam after about 4 mins and was quite hot but I was flying it with about 85pcnt throttle. The nano tech was a better option, not as hot and seemed to last longer. Did need to cut some foam out to have it fit but no biggie really. Overall not a bad plane.

I flew it with 3cells it flies fine, not super fast. I've been flying it with 1300-4cells, I think I've damaged the motor, but it was really fast while it lasted. I find you don't need a bungee, I removed the LG and bungeed it originally, but I now just hold it by the fin/dorsalspline and throw it underhand out and up at 30. This is the BEST slow flying plane I have, you can slowly feed in full up with the power at about 10pcnt and the plane will descend at about 45 under complete control, with the power off mine CAN'T be stalled. It's a blast to fly. TWO THUMBS UP.
Before you glue the wings on decide if you are going to use the LG, (hint: jets look stupid doing high-speed passes with the LG down), if you decide to forgo the LG turn the servo arms in the wing around 180 so they point up, (you'll need to cut a small bit of foam 1/4" x 1/4"), the switch the control horns on the elverons to the top also, this protects them from the grass. Also with all deltas you'll find you don't need much "aileron", but you want all the "elevator" you can get.

Hi! my second day of fly with this plane
I with the right thrust set in the radio I let the plane run over the runway and take off alone really flys very well, in a windy day is good for the thrust it has.
the rolls are very nice the loop needs a little help diving for a better speed and
the landings are very very soft, with a low speed
I like this plane the good "FORD" jajajajajajaja ( the ground crew call thsi plane FORD Fix Or Repair Daly)

Maiden flight saw a pretty bad crash, due to this bird being difficult to orientate against a grey sky. My fault, but I patched her up so she looks ok and attached a HK LED white cluster light to her belly so I can see a bright light even against a sunny blue sky. She was bait sluggish on 3s so I stuck a Zippy 4s 1500mah in, making sure to keep true to the CG, and she needs less runway now and goes beautifully. So far so good on stock esc and motor. Just put the battery in and hit it.
Not a super fast jet, even on 4s, but a pleasure to fly with enough presence in the air. I highly recommend this model.

This little Jet RAWKS!!! The first thing you'll notice is the quality of the foam. Very stiff and VERY light! Great attention to detail too. Initially I was concerned about whether a 1300 3 cell would be enough battery for her, and I had already thought out how I was going to modify it to take a 1600 or 1800 battery - but on my first flight that concern was over! I used a Nanotech 1300 45-90C pack and maidened her with about a 15-18 mph wind. She shot up with no problem and penetrated effortlessly. Climb out is steep! With all that wing area and the super light wing loading, I was able to go from zero to hero in no time, but ALSO able to "kite" the model in the wind easily! Friends loved watching her just sit still 30 feet up while I pulsed the throttle - then zoom away when throttle was increased. I also flew it on a lower 25-50C Nanotech 1300 3 cell and noticed a bit of loss on the top end, but it was still plenty powerful enough to handle the wind and have fun. Additionally, she flies as well up-side-down as right-side-up! This has to be one of the funnest little models I've picked up in a long time. The only things I had to attend to were as follows - 1. the fan is a little off balance and vibrates at higher r.p.m. 2. BOTH the aileron servo extensions were un-plugged within the fuse, which required me to remove the glued on wiring cover on the bottom of the fuse. 3. the ma

Very good jet. Easy to fly and to handle. The foam has a good quality and if you land hard it doesnt breaks easily. The ESC and impeller run very good. The price is unbeatable. It is easy to handle with low speed. The servos work exactly. Thumbs up for this jet!!

These little beastys rock, just use a 1300 4s after replacing the stock esc with a 40A one. Not to much foam needs to be cut out and she stays nice and light. Mine is approaching 50 flights with the stock motor and fan and going great guns !! :). The only other thing I have modded is some blenderm tape along the elevon hinges to damp them out a tad, they rattle a bit at high speed otherwise. ***** all round for this little thing, from me, simple cheap and rugged.

Got this plane and started to put it together according to the instructions. The glue was old but usable. After the wings were glued on and the landing gear was installed, I tried to put the control arms on but the holes were too small on the servo arms. I attempted to drill out the arm and slightly damaged the wings with the drill chuck. Make sure you fit the control arms to the servos before gluing the wings on. The battery connector that came with the plane is different from my batteries and I had to solder on a new connector. The hex key that came with the landing gear was the wrong size.
None of the problems were very big and it still only took under an hour to put it together. Weather here is crappy for the next week so I wont be able to fly it for a while.
