Sometimes you need it when crash your model. It is made of aluminium and includes the M2 screws to attach to the main frame. Good value for money, you should buy it to have some on your tool box.

Nothing to say about quality, it's well machined.
The good surprise is that it can be easy tightened with a flat 4mm key while the Align uses a non standard hexagone.
