Cant say great things about these props... in the opinion of someone who has being testing these things for more that a decade, these are no better than crap... No, the main problem is not the balance issue (thats why you have the prop balancer) They are defective in construction, many times unaligned and twisted, so, some of them tend to vibrate, even they are ballanced :( You cant even compare GWS to these... The problem is that you cant find GWS Direct Drive, in counter rotation version... only slow fly, witch are less efficient and slower to respond wean installed on multirotors. As for braking easily, i don't think that is problem, but a plus, cause wean you hit something that will cause the prop to imediat full stop, you don't want the prop to absorb the energy, you want it to disintegrate, so the energy can dissipate out the aircraft and not in. Lets help Hobbyking to improve they items. Thanks hobbyking for making me a happier man ;)

These work great. A little unbalanced but nothing some clear tape couldn't take care of. 1 of 5 was balanced and at this price I can't beat it.

GWS props are balanced. However, the blades are not very strong, can be easily damaged, but they're priced right.
