Good while it lasts

Good fun boat especially to learn with, this was my first boat and it's fun, cheap but also nasty,
The boat is fast for the price, but handling is somewhat mediocre, on glassy water and if it's tuned properly this boat can hold its own, any form of surface disturbance and that's when this cat becomes very unsettled. Especially at high speeds. You will learn fast how to drive this boat, and I wouldn't recommend buying it if you don't want to go swimming to retrieve it from the middle of the lake.

Handling aside. The electrics are of a average quality. But tiding of the wires is required. I changed the connectors to a better quality.
My biggest issue is the strength of the hull. 8 runs down I'm experiencing stress fracturing of the hull. Do remember that this boat is being run on a glassy smooth lake. With the only turbulence being what's made by the boat itself.

It was all going so well until these hidden gremlins exposed them self.
Just remember, you get what you pay for!

A very fast and good boat .
It does best without waves and wind .

The only thing that bothers is that it may capsize and then is possible , in the middle of the lake .
Otherwise I can only recommend this boat .
A note : Tucked the cables inside the boat always good and makes sure that they do not come to rotating parts!

The boat is not stable unless the water is like glass. ThIs is common with cat boats but boat flips on acceleration on calm wind free days too. I wish I got the Scott free instead. Seems bether and more stable.

The HK Quanum Relentless is my first RC Boot.I tried this Product because of the nice Price.The Quality is really good, also the hardware.The Speed is very good and it makes fun to use.

This is a cool boat, but need a little refinement. I had some Nano-Tech 2s 5000mah 65-130c pack around so used them for the maiden. At first the boat just poked around with the prop cavitating. As it picked up speed and started to get out of the water, the fun began. This boat really get after it. I'll try sharpening the prop and just ordered some 4000mah packs to hopefully lighten it up a bit. Will post an update after the weekend with the new setup.

Nice little boat. As mentioned by previous buyers, I didn't find a spare Propeller in the Box either. Instead of the mentioned XT60 plug there were two HXT 4 mm plugs as seen in the last picture. The user manual provides little spec's about motor or esc.
Make sure to check all screws before first run.
To bad the water cooling system for motor and esc aren't separated. Will have to do so myself. Oh and a antenna straw would have been nice to.
Propeller and motor came pretty well balanced, almost no adjustment needed.
Overall it looks great. Can't wait to try it out.

If you want high speed Water thrills this is the boat to do it ! Another fantastic HobbyKing product noe upgraded from the V1 design the New V2 has improved internal arrangements with better battery mounts etc.. when racing with friends these Relentless are fast stable and so much fun ! I have had a V1 foe 2 years and now have the V2 alongside 3 of my friends ! we can't get enough ..
