Very rigid plastic, even at low temperatures (around 0C)The tubes are in fact u shaped with the opening pointing down. This is the one for beginners, as it can stand even some hard(er) landings. Seem to be more stiff than the seperate piece ones.

I've had some hard bounces and this puppy has held up just fine. I prefer this skid over the pipe type. Got tired of the pipes rotating and the skid nuts do nothing. Sometimes I like a skid landing, can't do that with rubber skid nuts on your bird!

Very light, only 40gr. Im planning to use it in a FPV setup in a HK 450 or in the Hk500. It is strong too!!

Bought one as landing skid for my quadrotor (1.2Kg AUW) and it works if I don't land it hard. The strength is not enough and can be improved.
