O módulo Micro GPS e bússola New HKPilot é perfeito para o pequeno multirotor classe, aviões ou mesmo aplicação OSD independente. Apresentando o novo u-blox MAX 7 chipset e uma 15x15 antena dupla cerâmica amplificado combinado, este micro GPS é a embalagem poder de tamanho completo. O micro GPS também tem a Honeywell HMC5883 Compass para localização remota, para obter a sua bússola longe de fontes de interferência. Todo esse poder e recursos, tudo a apenas 8 g, o HKPilot Micro GPS tudo tão vem com cabos, tanto para o HKPilot mega 5 pinos (APM), eo pino 6 HKPilot 32 (Pixhalk). Este Micro GPS também é perfeito para as aplicações do CMM e Naze32 também.

Takes impossibly long times go get a fix. Was hoping to use it on a 250 FPV Quad, but now I fear the antenna is so lousy that it won't even work for return to home function.

Takes impossibly long times go get a fix. Was hoping to use it on a 250 FPV Quad, but now I fear the antenna is so lousy that it won't even work for return to home function.

It was needed to replace the diode which is in serie with the battery (the original one was a 0,5V one and I put a 0.2V one instead to get a better charge level of the battery, It is not mandatory to do it but it allows faster hotstart ). As the other people said, the configuration was initially 9600baud/1Hz. It was easy to change it to 38400Baud/ 5Hz with Ucenter. Once the new configuration is saved, it looks like the GPS doesn't work with Ucenter anymore (no more satellite capture), but once plugged to an APM, it works fine (I tested that with others ublox6 and it is the same strange behavior...). I tried to download the 3DR configuration file but it didn't work : The changes need to be done manually in the Ucenter. The configuration is kept well in the gps (some other reviewers said it was not retained). The size and weight is very appreciable for my QAV250. I just hope HK will update/replace this bad diode and put the right configuration before sending it to the others customers.

Completely useless thing. 2.3V battery, no memory, antenna without amplifier. Factory setup 1Hz, 9600 bit / s. Changed settings are kept for 5 minutes, then return to the factory. In 30 minutes can't defined position. Do not throw away money.

Takes forever to get a fix. Does not like to save compass settings. And works great for a smaller quad where weight and space are limited. I do not recommend this product.

Mine arrived missconfigured (9600 Baud) without a chance to update the Settings...Button Cell only loads to 2.8 volts (after 48h) and even after re-solder the antenna it took hours to get a Fix..
absolute worst GPS i ever had...no way to get this thing to work...
