Bought these in bulk and re-hinged a number of foam planes. Had too many failures because the hinges came loose and pulled out. I have since removed them all and replaced them with simple plastic flap hinges. Had no failures since.

Like all the other Bixler2 parts, am hoping to never need these, but keeping a set in the workshop just in case.

Weighs 0.43g a piece. A little slop for side motion, probably due to the fact that they can be snapped apart and put back together again. Also a little slop for pull forces, maybe 0.15mm or so. Height of part that goes into wing is 6mm, overall height 6.5mm.Width 6mm. Diameter of cylindrical hinge part 5mm (a bit large really). Length 29mm. Bought them just for spares, haven't used them for anything yet (actually I prefer 008-00201x10, due to less slop and more versatile (can be inserted in slots cut with knife, glued on top of wing and control surface). Don't think I will buy them again.

I took tem for my scratchbuild foam planes. Can use even ailerons or tail surfaces. It doesn't have to be just flaps ya know - hinges are hinges. They are just top mounting ones.
