Great fun

Nov 27, 2017

These are a great little wing that is fun to fly and is so small you can take it just about anywhere. They are very durable, I would have crashed mine about 100 times and it just bounces back . All up weight with a 1000 3cell and an 1812 motor is under the 250 grams, and I seem to get about 20 mom flight time. My only complaint is it has a tendency to tip stall , but with a bit smaller battery , maybe a 750 3cell this may be not such an issue. I would recommend this wing to anyone thinking of buying one.

Extrimelig fun to fly, especially if there is a handful in the air at the same time.
Both wit a 2S and 3S you get at wing ther can fly slow and at the same time be farst and extreme manoeuvrable (turn on a dime)

If you damage it, it easy and fast, to repair, with UHO POR.

This is a great little wing! You can easily put it together in an afternoon, or you can do what I did and reinforce the airframe with some carbon tube, and extreme packing tape!

I ended up doing all the reinforcement before my second flight, because she seemed a little slow at first. Once I covered most of the airframe in packing tape, and added the carbon spars, she was a lot faster.

I'm flying with Turnigy 5g Metal Gear servos, a quanum racing 1806 2700kv motor with a diatone translucent blue 5030 prop. As for the rest of the powertrain, I'm actually running 4s Turnigy bolt 850s, or for longer flights, 1000 zippy compacts. That being said, I hit about 6 min on the 850s. Also, the ESC is a turnigy plush 25A.

This is easily my new favorite plane, and I just keep her in the car for whenever the mood to fly strikes me. I'll be trying this on a 5045 bullnose prop as well. Hopefully the motor will be able to take it. If not, then I'll likely swap over to 2600kv red bottoms or something similar.

This little wing is awesome!
It’s easy to build, cheap and lots of fun flying it.
I use it with a Turnigy 1811 3800kv Motor and TGY-1370A Servos.
Prop size 5x3, ESC 10A, 850mAh 2S Zippy Compact battery.

With smaller batteries the CG will not fit, thinking about using even more heavy batteries.

The flying characteristics are really good. It’s easy to handle but still agile and with good rudder response. I don’t use any dual rates or expo.
I’ve flown it at strong winds, too and of course it is not the conditions this thing is made for, but it works quite well. It’s great fun to hover it against the wind with the nose slightly upwards and it’s not less fun to shoo it over the field in low altitude.
It is very solid and if anything breaks though, you can just glue it together with some drops of CA .
I have to find out how it will work indoors, but due to its agility I’m confident it will do also great.
I recommend this bird to each pilot, regardless if you are a beginner or a pro. It’s just great fun!

I have purchased this thing last yr learning how to fly other than a racing quad.i really like it,cause its easy to build and the thing is very tough I have crashed it like 20 times trying to do loops and stunts.if there was damage I just hot glued it back together with ease.I also have put a 200mw fpv gear on it and makes real fun. Then I got crazy with it and stuck a 2204-2400 kv motor on it from an old quad I had, then I stuck a 1300mah 4s batt on it with a 6030 prop, plus did some modding to fit the prop and this thing screams!!!!

It's good value for money. You can build it very light, or like me: fast with 3S and larger corrugated plastic fins.
One flaw in the design is the servo positions. They're at an angle of 128 to the hinge line instead of 90. This reduces your effective servo power to SIN(128) about of what it would be. Thinking doesn't cost money, so I don't understand why the Chinese designers always make such flaws.
