Assembled in under a minute.
CoG almost halfway back from leading edge.
First flight nice & flat for 25m then nosed up, stalled then nose dive into the ground.
Good fun until fuselage broke at front of tail, glued it back & added nose ballast, but still not quite right, might have to open the spare one up & maybe add CF rod for strength.

Beautiful small glider, very good flying characteristics, easyly put together.

Very good price compared with other free-flight foam gliders.

This is the chuck glider I always wished they'd make but they never did. Extremely cool looking and excellent foam quality (EPO). On the down side, it's little heavy & could use some dihedral, so you need to really give them a big heave-ho to get them flying. I got one each for my three boys and they are a blast, esp. for the price. Take the time to trim them as each one had very different flight characteristics. Next, I'm installing a hook and building a small hi-start launcher to kick the fun up a notch. Note they are NOT unbreakable - I suggest some fiberglass tape on the wing root and just before the tail, as these are weak points that will break on a hard, fast impact (this happened to us). Easy to fix with some polyurethane glue.

Review part 1 (continued in comments): Setup: EDF & motor from M15-35-ARF plane, ESC:TR_P10A, servos:4 x TGY-D1290P, servo adapter cables:MOL125F-LEAD, aileron Y-cable:258000101-0, servo extension leads:258000024, RX:R415, battery:N460.3S.25. The D1290P servos are really fast and precise, but unfortunately their contacts do not fit the R415. I cut the original servo contacts off and put on the servo adapter cables (soldering plus small shrink tubes for insulation). With proper reuse of the original servo cables you might not need the servo extension leads, but you need to plan cable lengths ahead of cutting time them (I reused the servos adapted for the Micro MIG-15, s all my cable lengths were off). Removed the nose weight which resides inside the black canopy. Pried it out with needle-nose pliers and a bit of force. Cut out material from the fuselage to form a "ditch" under the canopy where the battery was placed, standing on its side with cables upwards.

We got this plane today. So far not so good. The Multiplex Fox flies a lot better in moderate-high winds. Actually we are used to trim the Fox by pushing the end of the fuselage up or down to a great effect. That does not seem to work with the HK chuck glider. We will see what happens in light winds.

Someone else has already turned one into a slope soarer but i haven't seen anyone else strap a motor to one yet.

68gms assembled, of awesome potential - i bought 3 and one is screaming to be a wing donor for an ambitious DLG project, although a micro slope soarer is probably more practical - this is the best present imaginable for any child with a nascent interest in flying and too cheap to miss as a pack filler with local postage - the price of 1kg post makes it < $10 a piece posted as a set of 3, with 97g to fill the order's weight limit, or get some batteries too and the price drops even further as part of a 2kg parcel
