I hoped this tubing would help cushion any slightly rough landings a bit, but I didn't see any real improvement. Also, it didn't help with the occasional motor/gyro "twitching" you get if you land with just a bit of sideways momentum. Not a bad idea or material or anything, it just didn't help like I'd hoped. I would not get it again.

I WOULD strongly suggest that everyone get an extra pair or TWO of the landing gear struts. These are designed to bend and provide a bit 'o shock absorption, and they do it VERY well. Eventually though, with enough flying time, you will break one. NOTE: Keep any broken landing gear struts and cut them off where the "webbing" can be drilled out to 6mm. You can then insert the aluminum tube and, voila, a shorter, but useful new landing gear assembly.

nice shock absorber it does what it says
