plastic main chassis broke after a hard crash, so time to upgrade to this one! seriously doubt this one will be doing any breaking in any crashes, only thing is its troublesome to transfer all the parts over

am holding off installing this, as i drive in very dusty/rocky ground and i like the bucket wall protection the factory plastic one offers. (i bought after reading comments about it reducing flex, and saving gears, but just set your slipper clutch correctly and its not an issue)

Essential once you start upgrading. Adds a heap of strength to the chassis, much easier on the drive train as there is heaps less flex. Only takes a few minutes to fit if you leave the upper strut attached.

Recommended upgrade. All the spur gear and pinion shaft alignment issues go away once you have a rigid chassis (the original plastic chassis flexes way too much).

Overall: Good Main Chassis Bottom Plate. I set this on my "1/16 Brushless 4WD Monster Beatle" under stock main chassis.
Pros: Very hard.
Cons: Some holes very nearly the same.

It's much sturdier than the original plastic bottom plate, however, there are no sides, so dirt and dust sneaks into it easier.
