flew really nice but 2 out of my 3 kits had the wing broken. Seems like the person packing it just force bubblewrap down on it without taking any care at all.

I just balanced the props for the one of my three i opened so far. And still with the prop WELL balanced it sounds and rustles like its on a V8 engine. Im of to an indoormeet in a couple of hours and i hope it flies better than is sounds.
BTW. I was not able to remove the prop with pliers as im uset to with othe brands. I hade to force it out with a hammer and nail. So at least it shouldnt come loose in fight for those of You that have it wellbalanced from the box.
Poor quality but i like to mess with stuff so for this purpos it still is worth the money to me.

I have this micro that I purchased from HobbyKing. It is a wonderful flyer. It will fly fast and go straight up or you can fly it slow! I fly it in my driveway, take it off and land it on a shell drive. It does come with

a battery and there are two extra electrical ports on the receiver. I received it 8 days after I purchased it. When they get in more I will get another one! Can't beat the price!

I received mine today. This time I was taxed by the IRS at $ 75, still worth it. Contrary to what many have said, I got lucky and received without a scratch. It is very well done despite being fragile. I suggest you put clear tape on the wings to strengthen the falls. The weight is not a problem because the engine is powerful for the plane. I did a test on the street with little breeze and flew perfectly. I recommend.

Several of our indoor group members have bought this model and our assessment of it is quite positive. The model flies very well indoors once the correct CG is established, stable and smooth in turns, though mine required substantial rudder movement to initiate a turn.

I had an initial trial outside in a slight breeze and although it was quite manageable, still conditions are much to be preferred; some better trimming might have improved its performance however. At 30 gm it is heavier than the Ember (my favourite introductory model) but the price, even with shipping added, is about half what we pay for an Ember in Australia - if you can get one. The airframe is similar to the Microstik though the wing is made from thinner Depron and is more flexible. The brick is much better than the Microstik's with two conventional servos (HK-5320s?) and additional channel sockets. Ailerons anyone?

While mine arrived intact, one of the others found that it had similar crushing damage that Tipsytc's suffered (see discussion). He is an experienced modeller however, and was able to fix things easily. The prop on mine was also slightly out of balance as was the spare prop. Some advice on removing the prop would be helpful. Another minor irritant is the storage box. This is a conveniently small box and everything fits neatly, but the wings and undercarriage have to be fitted to the m

Bought 2 of these aircraft. 1 for myself and 1 for a friend. I was able to fly mine for the first time today and was very pleasantly surprised. I have a Night Vapor and a Ember 2 which I have a lot of fun flying. I found that the flying characteristics of this aircraft to be most enjoyable and more responsive to the other 2 light planes which I fly. One of the guys I fly with was so impressed that he has intention of buying 1 for himself.
Well done Hobbyking for a fun aircraft backed up by great delivery.
David.

I got my plane yesterday.
The feel is not at all what i expected - but my expectations were high.
The motor-propeller gear seems oval and the prop is hard to turn by hand. It makes a lot of noice when run on battery. I will try to fly it this coming week and be back with more information.
Funny that the HK video did not show any "live" of the plane.

I bought this because unlike "ERC Micro Stik" (copies are almost identical) this has royal servants, not servants spin as in micro helis (not last anything). So I think I made a good buy, now just wait for the arrival in Brazil. I'm also wondering if I can replace the motor for a brushless micro. Any idea?
