Good, but be careful

A very nice device. But it involves a potential danger: the 5V power supply to the receiver has only 1A. This is just enough for the receiver and the internal ignition switch. But it is not enough for powering any other device from the receiver. I tried it: already with 1 servo the voltage-drop causes the receiver to stop working. So: DO NOT CONNECT ANY EXTRA DEVICE (Servo, ESC, SBUS Decoder etc.) TO THE RECEIVER!!
But there is a “workaround” if you want to connect additional devices: use the 20A power supply and to achieve that you have to do the following:
- disconnect both (!) red wires from the servo-connectors ;
- take a short female-female Futaba-lead and remove the black (ground) and white (signal) wires completely;
- take, on 1 side, also the red pin out of the connector and put this pin into the middle (!) position of one of the servo connectors;
- put the other side of the servo-lead into one of the (double) servo slots.
I did not cut away the two loose red wires but did put a shrink wrap over the pins. By doing that it is possible to bring the power supply back to its original state eventually.

The only difference I can see between this one and the yellow one is that this has 20A bec and the yellow has 30A bec. Then why is this more expensive?? I don't know, maybe cuz black is "cooler"..?? Works great for me, dual battery supply, adjustable bec voltage, I set mine to 6v. Easy to set with a simple voltage meter. It would be nice if it had led V display, but that would add more $ and not really neccessary, imho. I will get another for my next 30cc bird, maybe the yellow one, but I don't really need 30A bec!

i have this ajustable power distributer in all my planes its the CATS MEE-OUH !!! TWINN BATTERY ADJUSTABLE POWER THERE OUT THERE FOR A HECK OF ALOT MORE$$$$$$ LIKE TWICE THIS PRICE. GET ONE AND YOU WILL NEVER HAVE A POWER PROBLEM AGIN !!!! FROM THE AVIATER UNCLE MIKE IN MENDOCINO CALIF
