I usually build my quads....but this is my first 4 cell powered one (my other ones being 3 cell) Heard lots great reviews on other forums too about htis quad...got it when it was on special price of 246....with free shipping man what a deal it flies so well and so stable yet super fast and powerful...camera and all works great all I did was change the LHCP antenna to RHCP antenna as my fatsharks are using RH other than that its running on the 4 cell setup and it goes nuts!!

A big disappointment after all the hype.

1. Screws are the usual chinese crap. Tried to change the upwards-looking camera mount but was not able to tighten it because the srews were so soft and crappy metal that the end that meets the driver went round.
2. When tried to change the video TX power from 20mW to 200mW the - crappy again! - little plastic notch broke before the selector moved at all.
3. What is worse, the video TX channels are wrong on the manual so even after one frustrating evening of trying to get the image into my Skyzone AIO googles I am left without image.

All in all this is what chinese crappy RC products used to be a few years ago. If you want to get angry and frustrated, buy this.

If you are looking for a hassle free experience in RC Quads then look no further. Emax have done it all for you in the Nighthawk Pro 280. About 30min of really basic setup and you are flying.

One of the most stable ARF's on the market. Flick a switch and you are flipping and rolling in no time.

I'm stoked with this quad. Straight out of the box and into Cleanflight after adding my RX and it flies really well. Good solid construction with plenty of accessory parts for adding lost model and battery alarm etc. I have modified the frame but it wasn't necessary, it was more to customize. The FPV setup is great as is. It is probably 50 to100 grams heavier than some of the other expensive 280 options available but has plenty of grunt and is simple and complete. I'm running 3S 2200 on the supplied props. I was fortunate to get it when it was on sale for $110 but it's still worth the money at the normal price for a good intermediate quad. Mark

Product arrived all pre-assembled. All you have to do is screw the antenna on, plug in your receiver and set it up in cleanflight. Flies really smooth. Very sturdy construction, this thing is definitely not going to fall apart any time soon! The Gopro/mobius mount works well, just used a velcro strap to hold the gopro on. Nice clean image through the board cam and transmitter. The light bar on the back is very bright (4W I think). I have already smashed this thing into the ground and only a broken prop. no damage to the frame at all! Really great quad for anyone (beginner to advanced). looking into adding an OSD but it is harder than it looks with the all-in-one PCB! Shipping to AUS was good (about 10 days). I run nano-tech 1800mAh 3S 25-50C and get a little over 8 mins flight time.
