as a unit, its accurate, well built and easy enough to use.
the battery header positions could have been thought out better but thats a constraint of the very very small form factor and ultimately not particularly bothersome.
what does annoy the bejebus out of me though is the current function and being able to read the max / min which was the core requirement of this for me.
if you don't have a current meter, its a decent choice. the graphing function is cute, it would be more usable if it autoscaled but that's an advanced processing thing.
ultimately, it is not as good as the one it was supposed to be replacing.

No more guess work when it comes to measuring current draw.
This nifty device has pre-installed XT60 connectors, which is convenient if you are already using XT60's. However, it also comes with a couple Traxxas T connector adapters in the box.
Can read current amps and peak amps, as well as min voltage.
Has voltage meter so you can plug your lipo balnce plug into it and read each individaul cell voltage.
Also has a low voltage alarm with configurable min voltage settings.
Has a live line graph that looks like a heartbeat monitor. You can see the line jump up when there is a spike in current. Unfortunatley i dont think there is a way to record the line graph, so you have to keep watching it live. It does however record peak current and min voltage.
I could have gotten a lower rated ESC for my motors if I knew how little current the motors draw. This thing could save you money in that regard.

Watt meter? no not really.

This is a great cell checker and AMP meter but it doesn't actually calculate Watts, It only gives Voltage and Amperage readout which you can use to calculate Watts but you have to do it yourself. Therefore this is a not a Wattmeter as advertised.
The instruction are terrible and not clear.
This is a really good tool but it is lacking some key features.
As a minimum it needs to measure and display Watts
I would also like to see stuff like mAh used and Wh.
I still like this tool it is tiny and great field cell checker. For simple fixed wings it would be a good to to see if you are overstressing components but I almost alway using flight controller with Amp sensing capabilities and I can pull it all down onto my computer.
I guess I am really just grieving for my "Turnigy™ 7in1 Mega Meter Battery Checker/Watt Meter/Servo Tester" which is no longer reading correctly due to short circuiting it when testing. And I have been unable to find any tool that replaces it.

Convenient Little Gadget

This power meter is easy to install if you already have XT60 connectors on your ESC Battery. I'm switching over to XT60 connectors since they are easier to use and solder than bullet connectors.
This watt meter features a line graph for current(A), similar to a heartbeat monitor and you can monitor the line graph live. When more current is passed through, you can see a spike in the line graph. Don't think it can record the line history, however it can record max amps and min voltage history.
I predicted the motors I have would draw around 35A for both, but this thing tells me only 15-20A.
If I knew that i could have saved money by getting a lower rated ESC, battery and cabling, so that's where this thing comes useful.
Wanted one of these for years!

A brilliant little gadget!
The amps monitor gives peace of mind that you are not over stressing your set up and the cell voltage display is really handy.
I think it’s a little weighty to leave in my models but if you did, using the “curve” setting I believe, after your flight it gives you a graph and round up of max amps and average amps ... voltage etc... it really is very useful.

The adjustable voltage alarm inoperative.Voltage reads low on balance pins.Has been helpful for prop selection on a very small boat. 3 stars.

Upon further testing I find the low voltage alarm is ok and seems to work well. However the cell voltage screen is a snapshot and seems to be considerably inaccurate not seeing more than 4.125 volts on any cell. Looks like the BattGo meter is still my standard. Also the current monitoring screen total voltage is 1.0-1.1 volts lower than actual. The graph resolution is amazing but don't expect to see much low current movement on a 90 amp scale but it does move!
