HK, PLEASE make a Multiplex to JR/Spektrum update file! I have the OrangeRX DSMX/DSM2 DIY Module installed in my Multiplex Cockpit SX radio. It works OK, but channel assignment is out of order (AERT for Multiplex), and thus I cannot fly any BNF model accordingly. Which is very sad, since everything else just works wonderfully. I have other Multiplex transmitters which could greatly benefit from such a firmware update, and I would promptly purchase other DIY modules if such an update was available!!

HobbyKing should be clear about what modules are compatible with this programmer. I tried to use it with an OrangeRX Open LRS 433MHz and it does not work. Later checking the reviews I noticed many customers report exactly the same problem.

PLEASE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS FOR YOUR ORANGERX OPEN LRS. IT WILL NOT PROGRAM IT. THIS IS FOR DSM STUFF.

Very usefull. But if you do not do the Telemetry mod to your openlng TX module. If you did this mod it is no longer possible to communicate with the module and you need a FTDI converter.

I only got this in case there are any future updates. It looks slightly different from the picture but works the same. Only reason for 3 stars is the poor instructions.
