Consistent quality, inconsistent delivery.

A decent quality filament and it seems good across the range of colours in petg. I'm looking for consistency in filament, I don't want to have to change my print setup each time I run out. I want to know how much it will cost and when it will get there.
This is where Hobbyking falls down, as delivery can be random at best, postage costs trebbled between orders. So I looked elsewhere and found the filament I need. It prints better at a lower temp and just as importantly, it is with me on time and at the same price each time.
Filament quality is getting better all the time, good service is still just as hard to find.

Works great out of the package ***BUT*** it NEEDS to be dried if you leave it out. If you don't , it will absorb water and the layers won't stick well.

This filament is great to print with at 250 degrees and comes out shiny with minimal stringing.

Bit shocked when I tried the PETG , I had the worst kind of bubbles and pops and crap extrusion that comes with filament which is holding way too much moisture. The bags themselves do seem to be sealed, I can only assume it was wrapped up in this state.
Overnight dry in a dehydrator (55degC , 9 hrs in this case) seems to have cured it and the material is printing well now. Had I not had that facility already, this would be hard to turnaround and make usable - never had any issues with any suppliers other than HK shipping filament that needs drying before use, and contains as much moisture. Tax killed the value statement shipping to UK (even with 10KG ordered to get the free shipping. QC is clearly lacking. Most likely I will stick with local suppliers in future.

The filament is very good.
The diameter is constant.
I'm not very expert but I think the print temperature is too high. I get good results at 225 ° 45mm/sec, 70° Bed.
Unfortunately the coil is wrapped very badly :-(

Wery good filament.
Surface of filament is so smooth that Prusa MK3 filament sensor gives random runouts...
Turn sensor off and this will do nice quality prints.
