very nice set of air retracts. They work perfectly. However they do not look strong enough for a 40 sized model so I would take that part of the description with a pinch of salt. That said I have fitted mine to a 40 size Kyosho P51 and drilled them to fit 4mm rod landing gear wire and i will see how they hold up.

They are very well made and would be perfect for a slightly lighter model with out the need to modify them. I would order another set with out hesitation. Another great HK product.

FLY FLY clones only better price. If you have a fly fly nose wheel steering servo mount and parts (as comes with their EDF models) they can be used on these to make one steerable. Better than the FLY FLY electric type for reliability. Make sure to buy the air valve/filler valve/air tank and hose to complete!

Identical to the Fly Fly Hobbies air operated retracts, just a lot cheaper and far better quality. I'm using these on the FlyFly F86. The mains require no mods, just cut to length and install the legs supplied with the kit. The nose wheel requires the servo mount and torque rod to be swapped but that's about it. Don't waste your money on more expensive retracts - these are just perfect - and you'll have one as a spare!!

I purchase these retacts to put on a 7lb AT-6. I had to change the wire gear as the one that came with the retacts was to thin. On landing the left retract hold well and the right retract would fold. It happen to be twice. For some reason 1 retract is not locking out. I think the retacts would hold will on a much lighter plane.

Put these on a BF 109 that weight 6 lbs. Legs little this so i ungrade to 4-40 rods. Now have these on a AT-6 that weight about the same. Have not flown plane yet so can't give a true opinion on on well they hold up.
