Yep, they're cheap and plasticy alright, but they work a charm and for $7...nothing to complain about at all. Have just put them on a Radian and boy do they kill the glide! I needed to mix in about 25pcnt of up elevator to keep things level. Used hot glue to keep them in place - probably not ideal but seemed to work fine. Very good value. Just with I had another spare lever or rotary dial on the tx to operate them rather than full on or off.

I have used these twice now in e converted Birds of Time,3m wingspan,they produce a slight nose down condition when deployed ,it reduces the fear of losing the model as it often thermals to speck height ,without much help from me!!!!.

Any 5-9g servo will work fine ,with the shortest sevo arm fitted so that it will fit within the thickness of the wing .



An exellent totally useable product.

I bought two pairs. Of the four brakes, one has a problem where it sometimes gets stuck and doesn't close all the way, and the brake has to be manually jiggled to get it back down.

I would definitely spend the extra money for the $20 metal pair that HobbyKing also sells. These are just a bit too flimsy. I would definitely not use these on a larger or heavier glider - they are really only suited to light-weight 2M class gliders.

Bought those to put on a glider, plastic quality is so bad that just putting & removing tape made the plastic bend, i needed to do that for a paint job. i tried to heat up the plastic and it got worst, to the point that i removed them & in the garbage. i ll put flap instead.

They do the job, way to good. I put them on a plane, it didn't fly anymore, it just fell down like a brick. You just don't want this on your plane.



I fixed them on a axn floaterjet (1.6meter semi-glider), crap.



3 stars for doing what they should, but way to big for anything smaller than 2.5 meters.
