Hitting the dirt track has never been easier with the Quanum Vandal 1/10 4WD Buggy ARR and now it comes with an upgraded ESC and motor pre-installed. You simply need your own battery.

The Vandal is a tried and tested buggy that is perfect for those who just want to bash around the park but aren't afraid to get a bit of serious air time or those who are interested in getting into 4WD off-road racing but don't want to lay down the serious coin on a full-blown race buggy. The Vandal will easily hold its own at most tracks.

But we wanted to make it even better so we asked our good friends at HobbyWing for a reliable and robust power system that we could include with the Vandal RTR and ARR and they gave us the WP-10BL50 with a 3250kV 12.5T sensorless motor, both of which are suitable to run on 2S or 3S and built to last. The ESC can handle a constant 50A current and an impressive 300A burst, it has an integrated cooling fan (for 2S only) and can be adjusted through the set key on the ESC or through the HobbyWing ESC Program Card (sold separately). You can adjust the running mode, drag brake force, low voltage cut-off, punch, and maximum brake force. This set up gives you a calculated top speed of around 42km/h on 2S (8.4V) battery or 62km/h on 3S, more than enough for most people.

The Vandal chassis is lightweight yet rigid, offering a perfect combination of weight savings and strength. Additionally, it features a robust shaft-driven 4WD system providing plenty of torque to both the front and rear wheels and virtually instantaneous acceleration. No belt drive system requiring fussy routine maintenance with this setup! An adjustable slipper clutch protects the drivetrain and metal gear front/rear differentials.

This ready to run model includes 1/10 buggy wheels, soft compound tires for increased traction and handling, as well as a wickedly styled, pre-painted body shell. With features such as fully adjustable suspension, oil-filled shocks, and adjustable camber/castor, it's easy to fine-tune the ride to the conditions of your favorite track or bashing spot.

I recently purchased some of the quanum vandal buggies and have been delighted with the quality and value of this item. It is an amazing bargain at the list price and something I wish I voted buy more of. If they get them back in stock soon, I'll buy several more.

This buggy is not fastest and its no really compared for competition. But for that money its a very good purchase!
Its hard to fit the akku under the body, its very flat and tiny.

The car is fast on 3s lipo. Fan works fine on 3s Lipo and it is really fun to drive this car on every terrain. The most fun is on dusty and sandy roads. It worths every cent.

The buggy's great fun and more than fast enough for me on 2S. I'd suggest buying spare shock towers as I've already snappped both. In it's defence the front one did break when it lost a head on collision with an X Maxx! The shocks are the worse parts because whilst they look beefy they only have a 3mm shaft which bends far too easily. I have replaced with Mountain branded shocks from Injora for under £20 for all four

Bought one to use some extra radios etc. Put on a Desert Fox bumper, Short Course tires and a stronger servo and now it's a fun little basher. Ample power and runtime with just a humble 4200mah Nimh battery. Will however need an aftermarket spur gear + a spur cover and more robust shocks. Also some threads in the plastic parts are suspect.
