For anyone interested - the photograph shows the carburettor upside down. Also the choke and throttle arms should be on same side one above other.
Setting idle below 2000rpm with 15x4 wood prop is unsteady. Both my 15cc engines with 15x4 achieved throttle rpm range of 2000/2100 to max 9100.
Main body parts are easily replaced but front prop shaft is literally impossible. I don't know how factory fitted it - but its screwed up so tight that it actually rounded out my box spanner trying to undo it ! I may have to resort to carbo disc cutting the front section of the shaft hub to allow a socket set to get on it. The new shaft extension comes with new shaft hub.
I am also considering replacing the Nylock nut used for prop retention as this is so tight in the nylon section - I have to put grips on the hub to tighten up. My thoughts are to use two standard nuts instead.
Overall though - its an engine I would recc'd even to a beginner. Its easy enough to tune and get a good run. Once set - it will only need a click or two if weather goes really cold / hot. 99pcnt of the time - I don't need to touch any setting on it.

Hi,

this engine is well build and really compact.
I mounted it in the Hobbyking Me-109 with a 3-blade prop. (12.5/7)
Maybe i will also try a 13/7 prop but i will see
The engine starts really easy with the manufacturing settings and a 4,8v NiMh for the ignition.

Flying time will be approximately 25min with 250ml fuel

I can fully recommend this engine and would buy it again

Very happy with this product. Using it on my hanger 9 meridian 10cc (had to reinforce the firewall) now flying half throttle 90pcnt time.
Break-in:
Using factory settings for break-in running two tanks on a 13x6 APC prop and 20:1 mix using 91 octane and Castrol power1 TTS racing 2T fully synthetic Jaso FD.
RPM peak at 11500.
Change to 30:1 running 15x6 prop RPM at 8500. Great power. Easy start. Very loud for its size but this is great on the field.

Use it for my Piper J3 Cub .91, 15x6, 15x8 prop. Broom..brooom... She climb up to the sky with confident power!
I use 1:30 for daily flight and a little oilly for the plug. I will decrease the mixture a little to 35 or 40 then. Very good engine!!

I just received this engine so first impressions:
Well packed, very nice finish and pretty light also. I have been using an RCG 26 and decided to get this after reading some of the reviews done by others here. If this performs half as well as the 26 does - which looks like the case based on the review content I have read - then it is one killer deal.

I was very hesitant to buy the 26 initially but decided it is a worthwhile risk. Could not be happier with that one. Runs like a swiss watch. Initially i was just about ready to trash it as i could not get it to do anything but sputter and die. Solution - put a CM6 plug in it, close all the needles and gradually adjust till you get a run and then proceed to fine tune the needle settings. It is a very powerful engine for its size on an 18x8 prop and idle to full power is very smooth and absolutely predictable. I am expecting this engine to be the same and just a visual inspection certainly makes me believe that it is an excellent buy.

Was very happy with engine, easy to hand start, ran well but spat the magnet first flight. Doing a warranty claim, anyone else had this happen.

Excelente motor, de fcil partida e regulagem. Usando no momento uma hlice 13x8 master airscrew, gasolina pdium com 95 de octanagem e leo castrol 2 tempos 8017h para o amaciamento.

No run up yet. Just installed into my 80" super sub (also from HK). The engine seems reasonable quality and hope it runs as well as it looks. Thanks HK.

Delay after purchase
Why the delay in shipping the item which is available
Says 3 to 5 days and I waited 8 days have not been shipping
This is very bad in the right customers
On this case will wait until a month to see my item...

The question is why you sell something you do not own????????????? This question is for official
