The 6 I received recently all take >750 mA at idle and >1amp when moving, no load, using my servo tester. Anyone else got the same problem?

Blows out expensive servos

I mounted the SCR 48g/9.7kg-cm/.12sec metal gear servos on a 3D profile plane. The servos are very fast(as advertised), reliable and are really torquey.



They use futaba servo arms. The ones supplied are a little small for 3D use. Also pick up some wire extensions as the pigtails are a little short. but the servo itself has been a great find.

Bonjour,j'ai quip mon T-REX 600GF au platau cyclique avec les SCR 9k7 0.12S ,je suis trs satisfait du resultat ce sont de trs bon servo surtout pour le prix.

Le seul petit problme c'est le retour au neutral,mais vue ce que je fais avec mon 600 pas de soucis.C'est encore un super raport qualit prix ...

Hallo HC Fans,



Sorry, i am not satisfied with the servos this time. I ordered some last year and they changed the servo. The worst is that the horns does not fit (have 4x Servos). Servos are not centering very well (slow the last 1-2mm till centering). For Aileron i have to use other servos, Flaps may be o.K. Next time i will try another servo...

The old scanner servo was perfect.

This is SSV and takes around four seconds to find the neutral point. I bought 8 all have the same bad quality.

And the "after-sales" service of Hobbycity doesnt work correctly.

Goede servo, ook het binnen werk veel beter gemaakt dan de Towerpro MG996R. Prima 0 stelling en op het einde zeer stabiel. (dat heeft de Towerpro MG996R niet) Als je moet kiezen tussen deze servo en de Towerpro MG996R zal ik voor deze kiezen! Voor die paar dollar verschil. Ik ga de SSV-9764MG nu vervangen voor deze servo's. op dit moment de beste keuze voor weing geld. Zeker een aanrader!!!

As others have said. Ordered SCRs expecting same good performance as the original I got a few months back which were excellent. What was shipped are SSVs, totally different in case, and more importantly, performance - a lot slower, uneven/inaccurate progression, slows down at end point. Make no mistake, these ARE A CHEAP SERVO. Platinum member, first time anoyed by HC

Ordered 3 of them too a month ago. Same as "Sam" is comment here: no sticker, little drop of silicon to secure the wires... and then they say "dont mistake this for a cheap servo"! Now the pic is changed to what you will get, but the real problem is that i ordered them for a 1,8m span Corsair and now the question is: CAN I THRUST THEM!?
