Have been flying this plane for a couple of months now. The gear - Turnigy Park480/1320kV motor, APC-clone 8x6 prop, 45A ESC, 5000/3S/25c LiPo, 12g metal gear servo's on ailerons and 10g plastic servo's on tail. There is a OrangeRX R800X and 2 R110XL receivers (6 antenna should be enough I think). The FPV gear is a 600tvl camera on a pan mount, and transmits through a 200mW 5.8Ghz unit with a cloverleaf. The remaining FPV gear is EagleTree. Flying weight is 1850gm. The Park480 motor is a little small for this size aircraft, but I get good efficiency (90W cruise at 50~55kmh). On a calm day it will give me 20 minute flights from 75pcnt discharge of the battery. The V6 wing isn't as rigid as earlier versions; I removed all the CF tube and replaced with 2.5mm GF rod glued in channels across top and bottom, making the wing one piece. this is my seventh skywalker. the simple fact is, the 1680 is the one, the only FPV plane to have!!

This is my 3th Skywalker. I love this plane. it's easy to fly and stable. and with the right setup you have about 18 minutes of flight with your GoPro onboard as well

I don't think I can say much that others haven't already said. It's a Skywalker. Well known as a fantastic FPV plane.



I am pleased to see so much carbon. Some already in the wings. Plus a nice thick and long joining rod. I can't see it snapping. There's another in the tail and a strip for the elevator.



It comes in 2 halves, which I like. This gives me every chance to make my mods. I'll be putting a bit more carbon here and there around the rudder and anywhere else that looks weak.



It came a bit battered. Not enough for me to send it back. But, enough to make me wonder how it happened. It was very well packed.



It has long gouges on one side. It looks like someone has drawn lines down it will a carbon rod. Not too bad... But they're there.



Still, I'm happy. If I'd seen it I'd still have bought it. And after I've built it and covered it... It won't look much like it does now.



I realise that I should fly it before I write about it. But, it looks just like the older versions and they fly well. There are changes. Nothing drastic.



I am happy to have my new Skywalker:-)

This plane fly like a bird, i did no need of trimming at all, fast build about 2 hours, it need a lot of weight in the nose, i did a fly with 4000mha 4S Lipo but nose was not heavy enough, i add one additional battery ( 3000mha 3S not connected just for the use of weight) on the top of the connected one and still not enough weight, i than install the GoPro 2 camera with the protection case, and BINGO it fly alone.
I was in love with my EPP-FPV i have to say a new love arrived.
in conclusion i was worry about the previous tale comments in discussion but nothing to worry about, and will handle the weight of the FPV equipment without problem, easy to carry around, i will advise this plane to any one even beginners really easy to fly, the foam wing is not the best quality but can be solved with fiber tape, at the price can't find better, thank's HK.
