This is a very good station. Make sure however to order the soldering tip set too the standard provided tip is only for small jobs. Need a larger connector to solder you need a bigger tip. .

I bought this long ago and its still working as the day I bought it. there is new soldering tips which make this station awesome especially if you're using big wires. the original tip is only suitable for small stuff, so if you're planning to solder big wires I suggest getting the soldering tips (10 different ones) along with this. I made small wooden tray I paint in black and Velcro taped the station and the holder to it. I bought this for a fraction of the price in the shops around my city

Use multimeter follow this Hakko manual to check the heating element for faulty if u experienced the solder not heating. they are basically same/ similar item or u can download the manual from 'Files'. If the heating element faulty, just change / replace a new 1 will do.

This soldering station is a direct copy of a brand named GOOT. It does work well but the recovery time between soldering joins is quite bad. You have to wait abit until the tip gets back to temp before soldering again.

Great value, works fine after u open it up!! At first I thought I had DOA, plugged in, no heat, no light, nothing!
Opened up the cover and found the green wire from transformer output was loose.
Standard mini Tamiya type connector needed pushing back on to pcb. Voila, working fine.
