I have a 3542 of these, works very well. but the 2830 I got problems: trash brought into the bearings!. We opened it, clean it and today I tried to fly a Yak 55 3D by Great planes and I agree with you, does not power on offer. I did better with the TURNIGY 28-30-14A 1100Kv azj for half the price.

I put on a 10x8 folding prop on this motor and at full throtle I got 215 watts and then the wiring burnt out. Not good for a brand new motor.



I had lots of problems taking it apart and some wires burnt off. This motor has a HUGE stator stack of 14mm. I rewound this motor with 4 turns of 22awg wire. My first bench test: 10x8 wood prop, 50 amp esc, 1300 Turnigy lipo 3s, Turnigy watt meter.

255 watts, 25 amp, 11.8 volt



Motor getting hot at one minute of 130 to 145 amps.

At full throtle the prop is beginning to scream. I have no idea of the rpm of this motor but it might be around 1400 KV.

After being rewound I would give it a 5 star rating. That prop would scream on a 4s battery.

Supplied screws rub motor windings. Soft aluminum. Lead wires are very thin and brittle. Very unbalanced. Very poor quality. Not worth the low price even as cheap as it is. Garbage, don't waste your money.

the motor is underpowerded, impossible to flight with my small cessna corvallis, 3s impossible, 4s very bad

This motor is not as spec. info states. It would be good only in park flyer type foam aircraft, NOT .25 size aircraft as listed. The best I got was 105 watts at 15.24 amps and the motor was getting way too hot to continue using. Much better choices available to use in foamies than this one. THIS motor needs to be relisted with CORRECT information, 8 to 10 amps (max) is the best your going to get with this one.

Horrivel! Merece mesno de 1 estrela. Antes eu ter comprado um Emax 2822.

O TGY SK 28-30 no tem 245w. No chega nem perto disso. No teve nem fora para taxiar meu aeromodelo "Ddalos" na terra.

Excellent 4 Cell motor used 3 on a on a large tricopter flying weight of 4 lbs. Fairly good efficency also. DO not use 3cell on this or youi will never know the power this is capable of

Runs much better on 4S. gws 12x6 prop is too much at this voltage, burnt out a tower pro mag 8 30 A esc!
