Few month ago , there was the same Tgy Basic but with 16/9 frame screen; I bought the 4/3 because I did know at this time , the camcorder "Wing cam HD23" , which can be used as video cam , with the same datas. Which would give a great 16/9 image with its wide angle lens. But no more of this now . Unless one day , some will come back on HK adds ?

Using both , video recorder HD23 as video cam, with these googles should be great . At the end , the number of pixel don't make any difference, but frame size does.

Sent me the wrong goggles, I have lost all confidence in Hobbyking, I have spent more than $2000 with HK and have made only one complaint and that was due to wrong item being sent. It will cost me $25.95 to return this item to you. It is not my fault there is no bar code on this item, it is not my fault you posted wrong item to me therefore I think it is unfair that I be penalised for your mistake.

I did make an offer of accepting this item with a credit for the price difference which amounts to $12.03, a solution I would have been happy with, after all $12 is loose change to your organisation. More importantly, good will guarantees continued business. This has been ongoing for 5 months.

Same problem as others on here. Ordered these goggles while they were on backorder. It said they would be restocked within, i think it was 20 days at the time, 4 months later... Still no goggles in stock. I contacted them, and they said, yeah, we aren't making any more of that product. At all. So you better cancel your order and we will give you store credit. 4 months later again, and the goggles are still listed on the website under Backorder.. Is this for real? Good way of getting money. People order them, are forced to cancel there order, and then get store credit instead of a refund. Nice..

I recently purchased the Goggles and I love them! They might not be as fancy as some, but are a great starter pair for FPV. I also wanted to be able to charge mine while in the field, so I built what I needed to do this, and posted a PDF file in the files for anyone who wants to do the same. So far I love the glasses and installed mine into a used ski goggles to use in the field, painted the rest black to cut out the light, very nice!

the image is a little smaller than headplay goggles but it is easier to see clearly around the edge of the screen where there may be voltage and speed altitude data etc , if your setup doesn't require you to adjust brightness contrast and such then these are very good goggles considering headplay cost me 340$ with battery , I have yet to compare them outside but inside the goggles are preferred over headplay for that fact that the whole screen is clear where headplay is not easy to see around the edges of the screen , if they work outside as well as inside then they are the best , if I cant see right and im not able to adjust contrast then they are only good for inside .thats all I can say so far , they seem very good in comparison to much more expensive goggles .

This product seem very good, after I had place the order and it reserve for me. But I had waiting about 10 days for HobbyKing to send. Suddently the status become back order..After check with the live chat, they inform said that the system wrong and I have to cancel this product from my order. so pity...

I was actually very pleasantly surprised at the quality of these goggles. I had read that they may not be suitable for viewing on screen display information, but I have no problems seeing all of the important information coming to the goggles from my FY AP117 OSD. The text appears quite clearly. The only issue I have is that my pupils are spaced unusually far apart (71mm), and the lenses in the goggles are only 63mm apart. This makes it a little harder for me to focus on both screens, but this shouldn't be an issue for most people. These goggles are a very good deal.

This unit really impressed me: the video quality is excellent for fpv. I tried mine out yesterday on a gaui quad and really felt being a part of it. I attached mine to the brow of a cap which elliminated a lot of the weight being on the nose & also keeps the googles in place. I had tried a fat shark pair of googles and honestly the view of these were better to my liking.

Ive just received the googles just after several months waiting for them to be restocked. I dont understand how is HK listing goods ready within 30 days, THATS FALSE. We all waited SEVERAL MONTHS for them!!

Well...after that long wait i ordered them and received them today. SURPRISE!! THEY ARE DEFECTIVE!!!
The googles didnt come with the original packaging (the one you can see at several online reviews) instead they came inside a plain white box, lacking the ac wall plug adaptor... This is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!!
It wouldnt be THAT bad if the googles at least worked but they dont!!!

I tried charging them, connecting them to several video devices and there is NO IMAGE AT ALL.

Now Hobbyking is asking me to PAY MORE for a defective product and send the googles back!!

Were not talking about a plain defective product here.... It didnt came with the original packaging at all, there is no chance for a mistake!! They send this knowing that it was an incomplete/faulty product!!

Looks like HK is spending more money on online marketing with those youtube videos than on user satisfaction and quality control!!

Im TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED and dont suggest you to buy it!!
ITs a LOTTERY!! (you can get the fine ones or you can throw 100$ away)
