I was impressed with this motor from the moment I took it out of the box. I dropped it in an Extra 300 with a 42 in wingspan and 20 oz. all up weight. With a 12X6 APC E prop the airplane verticaled no problem. this motor spins up smooth and runs consistently

When I first got this motor I was impressed by the nice bronze colour, 5mm shaft, etc. It had a lot of pull with a 12X6 inch prop, on 3cell lipo. My impression went downhill after the 10th flight on my formosa 2,when a gravel sound was audible from gentle flying. It turned out the front bearing (8mm X 5mm X 2.5mm) had come apart causing the problems. So now I have to search for a front bearing to replace the one. Thanks for reading.

I had problems with the shaft on the TR 34-42 with the prop attached to the shaft the shaft is only 4mm and quite soft. With this motor, the current capacity is higher and the shaft is a much stronger 5mm.

I ordered three of these on price alone , I hae to say im ery pleased with them, well made as we are coming to expect on products with the turnigy name on
