Powerhouse

Using this in a eleven pound Extra, has a ton of vertical and not too bad of battery life. I do not fly wide open all the time though.

Perfect for the application

This lower KV motor replaces my original 295KV motor that was just running too fast on my 10s setup.
The 245KV has now got a 1" larger diameter prop and current draw has been lowerd. I am a happy man.

Good Price but not so happy with the Qualty

Feb 16, 2017

I have the G160 motor on a 80" super sport by great plans. Running a apc 20x13e prop. pulling 109 Am with a 120Am esc 10s 37v batters. Was running a 20x6 wood prop but under powered. With the 20x6 a lot of prop noise. The first flight with the 20x13 the motor lost 5 magnets. Motor never got hot.

Great motor!

100A ESC, 10S 4500Mah (25C) with 19/10 wood prop draws 60A and 2450W, with 16/8 3-blade prop draws 48A with 2100W. Motor barely gets warm. Great torque and power! What a pleasure!!! :)

I have not run up yet but i have to say that the screws to attach the ali drive unit were too short and i have now to purchase some to do the job and i wonder if the rest of your stock is the same.. The thread on the shaft could be longer as most elec props areb slim and the drive end is smooth which will be a problem when you tighten th prop.
