4s 10400 Lipo, resting voltage 16.46V. Prop is 15x5.5E APC. At max throttle 6-6.1lbs of thrust at 40A -4A. It fluctuated a bit but this prop is absolute max for sure. 44A at 15sec for this motor means that max throttle is ONLY for takeoff and NOT for stunt flying or cruise. ESC was 45A scorpion commander. A 15x10E APC prop busted the 32A limit at just 60pcnt throttle, I do NOT recommend anything higher in diameter than 15inches. A 14x7E APC is most likely the sweet spot for this motor (as noted by another user).Very sturdy motor. I flew my 1100 warbird with this and E-flite Power 15 950 Kv. Both are very close in performance on 4s in spite of the weight and Kv difference. I got 34-36A draw on both on a 8x8 APC. This motor survived many crashes (too much high-speed, low-inverted over runway) but eventually my crashes wrecked her. :(I received my motor and am very pleased with the quality. I mounted it on my test bench with a 3 cell LIPO and 10x4.5 prop and used a Turnigy 40 amp ESC and recorded 38.5 amps after a 10 minute break in.Bought this motor for my Apprentice S 15 E when the stock motor stopped working
straight swop fitted perfect in to existing engine mount, half the price of the original motor with a bit more power
just check your COG as this motor is a few grams heavier
Great motor very happy after 4 flightsNicely made and very solid. Looking to use this on 3S with a 12x8 prop. Requires a 12mm diameter recess for the rear shaft when mounted if you don't use the supplied mounting plate. No connectors supplied either. Wires are 85mm long. Will add moer once I get the prop and adaptor.hello every one , FYI for every one, I put this motor in an Addiction XL Plane , 59" wing span , 62.40 " length , and it flew tremendous the set up I used is 2-2s-2200mah-20c lipo zippy batteries in series a 70amp-opto esc with a 5 to 40 sbec . I just love the G-series motors they perform well beyond my expectations, way better than the thrust motors that I first put in my plane that cost well over $100 dollars.
