40mm is the most common shrink wrap for 3s and 4s lipo batteries. I often solder my own packs from bigger lipos I got cheap.

Tough rubber shrinks to about 20-25mm. Works well, but takes a lot of heat, so be careful when using on lipos even with a heat gun.

Absolutely the best Heat shrink I've used. I always buy the 40mm and 50mm in 2 meter lots and use it for protection and marking my Lipos. Nobody walks away with mine by mistake anymore and it's so easy to use. Be careful with lipos though. They can only take so much heat before causing problems. Just take it slow and easy. The heat Shrink from HobbyKing seems to be double walled, it's so much heavier than standard Heat Shrink but it's shrinking capabilities are perfect and just about spot on 50 shrinkage. But it stops shrinking when you take the heat away so you're not crushing an ESC to death or cooking it. Use a slow steady flowing motion with the heat gun and don't try to shrink one spot at a time. Keep rotating the object and you will get a nice even shrinkage all over. Color code your lipos. Black for 7.4s Red for 11.1 Blue for 18's and Yellow for 22's. Great Heat Shrink at a good price.
