The Turnigy high capacity batteries are the result of extensive testing and development to increase flight times without the penalty of added weight.

We have achieved our goal by drastically increasing the battery capacity (mAh) while lowering the discharge rate. This results in a battery capable of providing sufficient current (Amps) while offering much higher capacity when compared to a standard 20C+ LiPoly battery of the same weight.

What this all means is that Turnigy high capacity batteries are able to provide flight times much longer than standard LiPoly battery packs without adding any weight to your multi-rotor model, making them absolutely ideal for use with aerial video and FPV drones.

We have a full range of Turnigy High Capacity Multi-Rotor battery packs in the works and will be adding new sizes/configurations as they become available.

Nice Battery for EDF jet too

I brought this battery for my EDF jet F8 crusader. EDF jets need higher current so higher C rating.
Other batteries of 20-30 C rating do not last even 2-3 min flight on the EDF planes. This battery makes that flight time almost double.
Capable of taking the load of higher current in short bursts as required by the EDF motor.

Bought these for a small EDF as most of the popular stock of 3S around 1400 - 1800 sold out in the UK or EU warehouse. Excellent battery, gtood price, low IR and sensible gram/mah, must get a few more!

At least, thats how it feels, going from standard airsoft batteries to these babies. I fit em in my magpul pdr-c with the extended battery compartment. It's the tightest fit, but its a fit none the less

Good performance at a good price

I use these in a Tek-Sumo flying wing with a 30 amp ESC and 2206 Turnigy 2200 kV motor and 7x6 prop. Good power throughout the flight. It’s better than the recommended 1500 battery as it balances the wing better with less nose weight needed.
