Ultimate solution for medium to heavy FPV models.
It allows you to build 3 power rails for all kind of equipment. I used it on two quads powered by 4S batteries in following setup:
- 14.8V rail for ESCs
- 12V rail for camera gimbal, video transmitter and some other analog devices that doesn't run on 5V
- 5V rail for two onboard cameras, DVR, lights and emergency beacon.
- 5V rail powered by distinct BEC for FC, RC receiver and telemetry

This is my go to BEC and I have a few of these now. I only pull a few amps on each channel and It doesn't even get lukewarm.
I have one cosmetic gripe about the product. One side is the heatsink, and the other side has the pcb ect...... The only way to mount this flush is on the heatsink side. The pcb side is awkward shaped and hard to mount cleanly flat. Id imagine if I was pulling a ton of amps then id want the heatsink to be free and be forced to mount it on the awkward pcb side.
Great BEC, buy a few.

I purchased this Turnigy Multistar Twin Output 5/10 Amp (6-50V) SBEC for Lipoly (UK Warehouse) on the 18December and immediatley found that there was no 12volt output
so followed the RMA returns procedure and am still waiting to have the problem resolved ???????

Very heavy duty feeling. higher weight but minor issue on most high voltage systems that you might want to put this on. I use the 12v side to power LED lights, gimbal and VideoTx and the 5V side to power servos and retracts and some additional 5v gear. So far so good. I would give higher quality if it lasts... we'll see but looks good. I use in conjunction with a 10S APM Power Module thhat powers the Pixhawk.
