Absolutely superb! Quality & value!

I bought this SK3 inrunner based on recommendation from a friend.I bought it specifically for the Midi Fan Evo.
The motor is very smooth, and appears to be very well made. It produces the same figures in the Evo as the standard HET 1970kv and just as good if not better figures than Hacker StreamFan 90 1880kv (a much heavier motor)
Peak numbers were 3650g static thrust with small intake lip, 105A, 23.2V.
If you need a motor for Midi Evo look no further than SK3 1900kv inrunner. Just as efficient as more expensive motors.
Well done HK, don’t take this one out of production please.

dear hk team !
i habe ordered this item classified from hk with 1900kv . actually i have received the turninghi with 1600 kv. i have wondered why the rpm at the edf ist too low. then i look on another edf with also this motor what i have seen ist the original 1900 kv motor have this on the label outside clearly visible, the motor which i have bought has this not labelled !!!!!!! on the other side i put this 1600 kv motor in the edf und will run it with 8s . it runs perfectly with reasonable greetings helmutforce,
flying it next year in springtime.in an aer macchi mb339 flyfly. be careful next time what you labelled and send the customer.

I wrote a review before about this motor, I came to the conclusion that it is to high kv for a 90mm fan. I built this unit using the free wing inrunner 80mm housing and the 9 blade free wing fan. I tried the 12 blade, it pulls too many amps on 6s. (120 amps, 2766 watts! and it made 3.71 kilos of thrust.) pretty sure that will burn it up. I ended up using the 9 blade fan and the numbers with that on 6s are 103 amps, 2230 Watts and 3.3 kilos of thrust. I have flown this in an 80mm plane many times and I can tell you it scoots! No lack of speed or vertical here. I feel this is what this motor is best suited for. If you cant fly good, fly fast!

Bought this for my stupid fast funjet ultra. Incredible performance on 6s and 7x7 prop. Good build quality and smooth bearings. Use a 36mm heatsink if you're going to use this with a 7X7 prop!

Very Powerful, but.....

I started out testing it with the 7 blade 90mm unit hobbyking sells here. I was using a brand new Turnigy heavy duty 6S 5000mah 60C battery and a 120 amp hobbyKing ESC. I rolled the power on and found myself looking at 145 amps and over 3000 watts. I terminated the test immediately, too early to check the thrust. I switched to a 90mm 5 blade fan, also sold here. It did 92 amps, 2100 Watts and pulled 2.73 KG of thrust or 6 pounds. I think to spin this with a reasonable blade count like 10 you will need to run it on 5S or possibly use this in an 80mm fan unit. This motor is way too high KV. for anything else in my opinion.

Wow, watch the amps

WOW. Test data using 6s 8000mah 40c and 90mm changesun 12 blade fan.
4.59kg thrust @ 159amp, scary, dont really want to know the rpm.
The fan has been balance well for those of you who wonder.
Its just a matter of time befor the motor blows at that many amps, would not recommend it for a 12 blade fan, great thrust but way too many amps.

Bought 4 of these for some fast movers I built... 6 cell w/6x5.5 on a scratchbuilt foamy pulling 115 Amps @ 1800 watts!!! Blazing fast with no issues so far. Comes down warm to the touch but not hot... Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to go fast..

WOW SUPER
finally got to fly my jet total weight inc battery 2k.
it flew across the sky and sounded great
std 90mm fan 6s 4000mah 40-50c 5 mins and still plenty left 40pcnt in battery
love this motor
looked like a real red arrow I just needed smoke.
