Great motor for my Phoenix 1600 at 3S Lipo - Aeronaut CAM Carbon 10x5Varios vuelos montado en un Raptor con alas de un EasyGlider y helice 8x6, consumo mximo en vuelo de 29A y 342W, muy bien. Efectivamente debe de tener ms revoluciones de las indicadas pues su rendimiento es similar al de motores de igual tamao y 1400kv.Bought for a scale motorglider, the kv rate was perfect. Unfortunately sold with the prop shaft at the 'wrong' end for me, I had to invalidate my guarantee by dismantling the motor and refitting the shaft. It was a good press fit in the endplate and require a bit of pressure to remove/refit. Although secured with a grub screw, the interference fit meant that the shaft was unlikely ever to shift. Run after the modifications on an HK Cherry wood prop, there's lots of power for the job in hand. A well built motor.I bought this to replace the 4Max purple power pppo-2837-1120 brushless motor for my Multiplex Parkmaster 3D. I decided to take a risk on the Turnigy motor as the mounting holes (listed as m3 size) where not m3. This motor is listed as having m3 bolt sized mounts and they are! Unlike the purple power I could bolt this up firmly with no thread stripping or the motor working loose. Performance very comparable to the purple power, so much I could not notice a difference, and roughly half the cost. This Turnigy motor kicks ass, 300 watts easy, no problems. Would recomend this motor for anyone looking for this size and performance. Motor 1: 1370kv, 1.2A (no load, 10V)
Motor 2: 1386kv, 1.15A (no load, 10V)
Motor 3: 1420kv, 1.15A (no load, 10V)
ESC YGE80, default settings.
Internal resistance is measured with 50 mOhm (same for all lines), all three motors run smooth.
So its not a 1200kv motor but more like 1400kv, but otherwise it looks ok.
Excellent little motor. Using it in my HK Cosmic Wind racer with a 30A Mystery ESC, 3s 2200mah 25c zippy compact and 8x6 apc prop. Perfect for this plane,- getting around 70-80mph with up to 10 mins flight time, (cruising) and around 6-8 mins mixed throttle. Very quiet setup, even flat out. No heating problems at all, comes down with everything barely warm.
