Servo cable colors are confusing and non-standard

The wire colors on this servo for power and ground are reversed. All my servos have red power (+5v) in the center and black (ground) on the side. This servo has black in the center and red on the side. So are wire colors just reversed, or are the actual power and ground connections reversed? I read this post in a prior post here which implies the wire colors are red (+5v?) and Black is (- ground?), even though their position in the plug is reversed from a normal servo plug:

These servos come with 1.5mm pitch connectors, so if you plan to use them with SuperMicro or FrSky micro receivers you'll have to purchase a package of MOL125F-LEAD to replace them.

I've had these servos for over a year and have them installed on an Indoor Foamy. About 50 flights on them without any problem. I plan on buying more.

Small and light, quite fast and centers well. Bought 4, all were good. Changed contacts to Micro-Molex 1.25mm (MOL125F-LEAD) to use these with OrangeRX R415. I use three of this servo on a Micro MIG-15 with 3S and a 10A Plush ESC. Very flimsy servo horns, and the screw to fasten them feels as it will strip every time you tighten it, and this is the reason for me deducting one star. But good value.

Excellent servo for the Blade 130X tail. Simply double sided tape and cable tie to existing servo bracket. The same adapter lead is needed that is used for the E-Flite DS35 servo upgrade. Tail gain needs to be reduced significantly as this servo is so much faster.
